I'm looking at the AFC ...... Burrow, Mahomes, Allen, and Herbert........ maybe Trevor Lawrence next year. Mac Jones isn't far off. The only hope of winning a super bowl is to build a defense good enough to shut down those offenses.

The objective has to be bigger than just getting into the playoffs. We need to counter the coming AFC domination. Our offense isn't going to score more points or gain more yards from scrimmage next year. We need a new plan that starts with defense.

I actually think we (our D) can compete pretty well with offenses like Cinci and KC, the new plan we need is a well tailored "game plan" each week. We had several weeks that looked like we (Moore) had no specific offensive game preparation.

The alleged strength of the team has been the offense which has repeatedly gone AWOL in big games.....time to shift the lions share of the salary resources to the defense.....the last 26 year old philosophy sure hasnt worked

A respect, but we haven't been into the final in our own conference in 27 years.

I can't worry about how to defend the AFC in a Super Bowl.

If your premise is that our offence is not going to improve at all, then we've already lost.

Started this past year. Need to add DT or 2. A LB so Parsons can play DE more snaps. And add good safety. If we just get a DT that can clog the hole and push. It will make a big difference.

Also a more consistent pass rush. Quinn needs to send heat. Bring fast blitzes. I didn’t see a lot of blitzes this year..

We should really be looking at the top dogs in the NFC. That's the road to the big game.

While I agree and have always agreed about building the defense, that is not the desire of the owner.

That duel between Romo and Manning was Booger's kind of game. And it doesn't matter that the team lost because he thinks his QB won. He was happy after Prescott's showing in TB, even though the team lost. He was beaming eye to ear.

The Joneses are follow the ball and building and keeping a defense together is too hard of a job for them. Tough to keep a D together when there are so few really good D players compared to the O.

The concept of building a D to stop the run with the hourglass, DT's, MLB, S's is foreign to them, which is why stopping the run up the gut continues to be a problem. They look to the CB's and DE's and try to build outside in. DT and S is not a priority.

There was still not one team that we could not beat in the entire NFL. If healthy, and a few breaks our way. As in reducing penalties. make a few FG's. I felt we could compete with any team.
Now that could change over this off season. many think we will get worse. However, other teams can also get worse as well. But we could improve also.

For now I will stay with we will be the same along with most other teams.

Our defense held Chargers to 17 at there place and KC to 19 at there’s. Our offense couldn’t get it done in KC.

I think our offense is more of the problem. Having said that the D will look a lot different next year as we have a ton of FA’s.

What we need is continuity.

We have been trying to build a dominant offense since JG arrived in 2007. We can't add much more talent to that side of the ball. The defense has a lot more room to improve.

That will not change until the owner accepts it was not the triplets. They are like some superstar rock act to him and he envisioned that with Prescott, Elliott and Cooper but I do not see that happening.

Offense builds attendance; defense brings championships. I do not think Booger believes the second part of that. And he's been one of the owners trying to reshape the NFL by giving the offense even more advantages with the rules.

Building the offense, that's the fun part of his job. The defense is too much work and much harder.

The players on offense are more than enough. We need to trash the JG offense
