That starts with focus in training camp and accountability...wind sprints wouldn't be popular. This line didn't come together until Arizona.
We were down 3 OL against AZ, they all went down midweek.

The first time we've had the starting 5 together was against the 49ers.

The line issues are multifaceted and I think y'all have done a good job of laying most of them out. To be clear, minus Steele, our issue is run blocking for the most part.

I think the blocking scheme they want to use does not match the skillet of the current OL.

Solari is way better than Philbin.

We need upgrades at RB.

Expecting scrub RBs to run like Elite RBs is asking a lot.
Asking running backs to gain yards when a DT is right in your face at the LOS is asking a lot.

Our running backs getting held for no gain is WAY more about the poor blocking and the poor scheme than the RB’s running poorly!!

Yup.

People on here were talking about how you dont need to pay $$$ for an elite RB.

just pick up some scrubs and low end draft picks, and you are good to go.

Of course it wasnt going to work.
Pollard led the league in yards per carry last year. Now he is a scrub?
The blocking and run scheme are the problem this year!!!!!!!!!!!

Pollard did have a serious injury, and didn't look like he had the same zip for much of the season. His lack of productivity doesn't require much of an explanation outside himsel.
