We need to find a way to use Harris more

You always have to wonder if the limited opportunities help Harris be a playmaker. Defenses don't key on him, which should help him...to say he would give the same production with more touches is conjecture I think.

I like Harris, I really do. He typically comes through for us when we ask something from him.

However, what Future said is true, he does get more room to operate because he isn't heavily used (imagine what Dez could do without 2 and 3 guys on him all the time). Plus, I think that Dunbar is more explosive in the short passing game (although I worry about fumbles with him).

I think they should continue to use both Harris and Dunbar and go with the hot hand.

i think harris is a playmaker. but he covers punts, returns punts, return kicks and plays some on the offense. he is never going to be a big part of the offense unless you want to take him off special teams. he can come in for a few plays a game and i think he can make plays but you can't make him a big part of the offense and still have him doing all those things on special teams and since he is so good at those things on special teams those should come frst

It's kind of funny how fans view these things.

Some think Beastly needs the ball more.
Some have said that we need to find a way for Dez to get the ball more.
Some say we need to run the ball more.
Some, reports of Linehan, say that Dunbar should get the ball more.
Now we need Harris to get the ball more.

We got plenty of people who could get the ball more. Now we need to make sure that the QB gets them the ball more and not let the opposite team get the ball more.

He's obviously not taking Dez' spot but Williams leaves a lot to be desired. He doesnt go up and make that catch that Harris did on Sunday

Williams long last season was an 82 yard TD he avg 16.7 yards a catch. I like Harris but no Harris is not better nor will he take Williams spot. Harris is a role player it is what it is

Man if it wasnt for that play where Romo almost killed Dez, Twill would have had a long TD....
He brings a dimension to the passing game as well.....
receiver is definitely not a problem...

No doubt Williams is a very talented WR and that is not a knock on Harris. I love having Harris on the team, he makes plays in his role and is a very good return man as well.

If Tony completes 22 passes a game, 10 will go to Dez and Witten.

The other 10 guys get to split 12 catches.

Not sure if that has much to do with it. Seahawks use Earl Thomas their starting safety on special teams as a punt returner and use Percy Harvin a starting WR on kick returns.

Has he made any comment about his punt fielding issues last week? I don't think I have ever seen a seasoned punt returner miss read 3 punts in a single game in a dome

Just get the ball in his hands in space and he'll do the rest. If teams start keying on him use him as a decoy on some plays.

That is Seattle, and everything that Carroll smacks his gum at, turns to gold.

No they are not concerned about putting players out on the field to play the game. Special teams can turn the tide and if you have skilled players who can break a game wide open even in special teams they will use them.

They can do it... I would keep dez off punt returns if it was up to me.

I agree only because Harris has shown himself to be more than capable of doing a very good job in the return game. Myself I have never been opposed to putting guys back there based on their ability. When Deion was here you bet I had no issues at all of having him return punts nor would I stop a player in the future.

The main issue I do have if Dallas does it then our coaches are just stupid and do not know what they are doing says the living room coaches who have no clue yet a SB winning coach does it and he is smart, he gets it.

I understand that, and I don't disagree.

Just that Dez runs too hard for his own good on returns.

You can look at a few games last year, where Harris was one of the main reasons we won the game. The guy is a weapon. I'd prefer to see him get the touches that Dunbar/Beasley get.
