This could really put us over the top guys if we could trade for Strahan, as much as I didnt like him playing for the Giants, we could really use him since we have no talent at DE, but who could we trade?

a DE in the twilight of his career...

no thanks

the Giants will ask for quite something in compensation and Strahan wants a big contract

I'll have a double shot of...no thanks

Yeah, let's trade Bowen for him. I'm sure the giants would love the thought of Strahan killing Eli twice a year.

Yup, we don't need this guy for those three reasons.

Not to mention that he doesn't fit our scheme.

But I really need to get to know tsumma's dealer...he's smokin' some good stuff.

Have you putting Kool-aid in your bong again? :D

I will say, no thanks, let the Commanders over-pay for a 4-3 defensive end that doesn't fit our scheme, who is in the twilight of his career, and wants a larger contract that he has, which we would be silly to pay for.

Besides those things hot damn! I want that fella!

Besides, his contract is fine, but that wife of his took alot of his dough. He is trying to get overpaid and that is that. He is done with the game IMHO, he just wants to make some more dough for a gullible team somewhere.

Strahan is one of the best DEs to play this game - excellent against the pass and run -- he, however, is not a fit for a 3-4 at all. I really hope Mike keeps playing - you see a player of that quality rarely and he's still got a few years left in the tank.

The Commanders could really use him. They have nothing that scares teams at defensive end. Maybe the Skins will trade Champ Bailey for him. No, wait!
They already traded him. OOPS!

:lmao:

I think Strahan can play for anyone but he'd be a situational player in the 3-4. Too much money for a player who can break or wear completely out soon.

As has been stated already, Strahan is NOT a 3-4 DE. He's a pure 4-3 DE. It would not work, and even if it would I wouldn't want to sign a 35 year old guy that would demand a lot of $. In other words, NO THANKS!!!!!!!!
