There's really no point in defending Flozell. It was a cheap shot, it resulted in an injury, and he paid the price for it.
I don't see what Flozell did as a "cheap shot" any more than holding or a block in the back or hands to the facemask is. A cheap shot is a chop block at someone's knee, or a hit after the whistle, or spearing.

For Gawd's sake... It's not like he tripped a little old lady. He tripped a guy in a game where players intentionally knock the hell out of each other every single play.

And it's a fluke that Tuck was injured on that play. He fell wrong on his shoulder -- big deal. Players are on the ground all game long.

Bottom line is that just because it's a penalty, it doesn't mean it's a cheap shot.

me neither. If anything it was just a terrible attempt at a block by Hagan

Well he's certainly no Roy Williams.

His leg flipped up due to his momentum but he did not try to use his legs to take out the defender. I'm just not sure you are allowed to block that low down field which is why I would have called clipping.

Just another dillusional Giants fan.......

Oh and by the way, I love the Dallas media kissing up to Justin Tuck and acting like flozell Adams should be scared because big bad whiny tuck is going to get him back for tripping.
Yeah, no kidding. That's why I don't read them or listen to them or even read or listen to people with their own websites who suck up to them. *Cough cough*

I don't buy that. Holding, blocks in the back, and facemask penalties are usually accidental penalties committed in the heat of a play by a player whose body or hand inadvertently slips out of position. Flozell's trip was pretty obviously intentional.

Yes, lots of players fall down without getting hurt, but that's not the determining factor of what makes a cheap shot. Players often bounce right back up after late hits and spears, and often get hurt on routine plays. Tuck's injury doesn't make much difference to anyone other than the Giants -- it would have been a cheap shot whether or not he'd gotten hurt, but when you or your teammate gets injured from a cheap shot, it's tough to swallow. Especially when you're a blowhard to begin with.

Uh yeah. Just like flo he blew his block and threw his legs up to slow down sensebaugh.

If you go back and watch the play from the other angle where they are showing the holding on seubert, which was the penatly that was accepted on the play, you can see he is running right at sensebaugh misses him and throws his legs up to slow him down.

You simply can't do that and that is why it is a personal foul.

But Hey, no one down here will bring it up and no one in ny will bring it up.

Thats the way it goes, you know like how Dallas for awhile was the punchline for having lost to the expansion texans in 02, even though you know the giants did too.

No. Do you have a website? Maybe you got confused because I screwed up the format in my reply. But, no, it was not directed at you.

We need to suit Theebs up for this game. He's fired up.

He'd hit them in the mouth for sure.

Where's Chris Snee and Brandon Jacobs and Eli "Dopey" Manning?

Eli reminds me of Dopey on Snow White.

I just watched the news.

They showed a quick clip of Justin Tuck.

I couldnt really understand what he was saying, but if I heard him right I think he said.."they talk crap about us but we dont talk about them" and went onto say you can throw the records out the window.

I will put the video up in a minute. So someone can tell me I am wrong....because there is no way that guy has the audacity to actually say that with a straight face. Although it fits in perfectly with that locker room and that group of writers up there.
