We get a decent running back, either resign Hardy or replace him, and sign a backup QB, we probably will be in very good shape next year.

Edit... oh and Desmond King if he goes pro (as a Hawkeye fan I am dreading that because we will be right back there next year... but a ballhawk who is a sure tackler... yes please, would be another Byron Jones type player I think).

In total defense. That's not bad. Take away a few pick sixes and a 100yard return we'd be higher in scoring d too.

I'd say offense is our weakness.

I didn't realize we ranked in the top 6. At least we blitzed in some form or way tonight. Other than lack of turnovers not blitzing at all has driven me mad this year.

Crunch time they allow a 22 second TD drive. Big time!

1-tech is nice to have and we had Terrell McClain there until he got hurt. The problem with Dallas is they have done very little to address the safety position since they drafted Roy Williams. Ever since Woodson got hurt, our safeties have been the likes of Lynn Scott, Tony Dixon, Keith Davis, Ken Hamlin, Alan Ball, Abram Elam and Gerald Sensabaugh. I don't think Sensabaugh and Hamlin were world beaters, but they were the best of the bunch and usually they were paired with a god awful counterpart.

That list is so depressing as far as talent producing players for the cowboys. Sensabaugh and Hamlin were just guys and we were used to less than average performance at that position is retrospect. Point taken this defense is really not the problem with the team this year.
