I don't have to worry about looking ahead. I am not a player.
The cowboys are number one in the NFC and we play the next five ranked teams in the second half of the season.
1 Dallas Cowboys
2 Green Bay Packers
3 New York Giants (1 game remaining)
4 Washington Commanders (2 games remaining)
5 Carolina Panthers
6 Detroit Lions
If we win 3 to 4 of these 6 games against top ranked teams and 2 to 3 of our other 3 games our record would be somewhere between 11 and 5 to 13 and 3. We will hold most of the tie breakers. I think we will have home field advantage for the playoffs.
Now if we struggle some against the top five teams and go 50% on our remaining games we would be at 10 and 6 or 11 and 5. That should get us into the playoffs but not get us home field.
If we only got 3 more wins and ended up at 9 and 7 but we beat our divisional foes in those three wins then I believe we would still be a wild card team.
