We should all just calm down.

I dont have a problem with trading down, but I dont see how drafting 12 players in the late rounds is going to help this team. We would be lucky if 5 of them made the roster. Hopefully we have some guys targeting and will do some trading up in day 2.

There will be alot of wheelin n dealin by Jerry tommorrow. I can promise you that. There's a reason why he didn't want to touch anyone besides Unger in late round 1 and 2 with a 10 foot pole. They have a ton of players they like in the later rounds and they will get them guarenteed. Now they have more firepower to do whatever they want.

Jerry's coming out blazing tommorrow!!

Hey slate, sorry to see we didnt get your boy, but you know the draft and i am sure you were prepared for both ways for it to go.

It's all good. I wanted to throw up when he went to the Lions. I couldn't believe it. I'm over it and ready to move on. There's no point on crying about it any more.

great attitude man. I wasnt to informed on him but Ill take your word on it because you have more information on him than i have right now. But i know you were high on him and he was within reach, Jerry could have done a deal for him but you have the right attitude.

Sorry, I cannot calm down. This is a clear signal that they are reverting back to the Larry Lacewell days where the outsmart themselves trying to pick niche players at the exact spot they have them rated instead of just taking good football players when its your turn to pick. I thought they turned the corner over the past 3 drafts but now I'm not so sure. They are acting like we just won the superbowl and have everybody returning when in fact we have a gutless team that got blown out with a playoff spot on the line and they are looking for backups and special teamers. RIDICULOUS!!!!!! They should have used some of those picks to move up and get someone that can help win games not play on the punt team from day one!

You don't know what you talking about. This is a very talented team without any one glaring weakness. It is in a perfect position to trade down.

You have to understand where this team could afford to have a used the 51st pick and pay the player a million dollars a year to have him as a backup.

MLB behind Brookings made sense. LOT behind Adams made sense. A CB who could see time in the dime. A larger run stuffing NT who could see time behind Ratliff and allow him to see more snaps at DE. A WR with punt return skills would get playing time and fill a role. An interior OL to replace Koiser or bump Gurode to Koiser's spot.

It's obvious that the team didn't see any players to fill those roles worthy of the 51st pick.

Now they have an extra pick in the 4th to help them fill all those needs.

We'll see how it goes tomorrow. I'm not as concerned about moving down as I was earlier but I'll have to wait and see what they do to decide rather or not I will be ultimately concerned.

I've already expressed my frustration on here and have come to my senses. The draft isn't over and there's alot of players that are still available that can come in and contribute on our team. I'm still puzzled about passing on Sean Smith but that's neither here or there. I find it ironic that we all thought we weren't drafting 11 guys yet we actually pick up one more draft pick then with what we started with. Jerry and his staff have gotten the best players on our team in the 3-6 round range so I'm going to trust him. He's got a plan, but don't ask me what it is.

We can still get alot of impact guys.
Rashad,Mike Thomas and Sidbury in the 3rd(finally trade up?)

Caldwell and Phillips in the 4th

That's a pretty good draft just right there. I'm still holding out hope and so should alot of you. It isn't over and I hope Jerry proves us wrong with this madness!

How? I vented DURING the draft when it was still fresh, then quickly came to my senses and got over it. This guy simply cannot get over it.

Remember, Jason Witten, Marion Barber, Tashard Choice, Miles Austin, Tony Romo, Jay Ratliff, Bradie James, Orlando Scandrick, and the recently departed Chris Canty were all aquired from the third round and later. Talent is still to be had. Also, I notice just looking at these guys myself most of these players really care about football and want to win.

All truly great drafts are made on day two. There are examples not only on our current roster but throughout NFL history, John Stallworth jumps to mind. I agree, let's just see what the draft brings. I don't know about you guys, but I could stand a few more Jason Wittens, Orlando Scandricks and Marion Barbers on our team.

Heck, look on the bright side at least we're not Raider fans!

This might be a little out of left field, but do a bunch of you REALLY feel like YOU could do a better job? Because, if Im honest I know I cant. I mean its real simple to "Madden" your way into draft picks and such, but thats a VIDEO GAME. Its not like real life. Did anybody catch where the Broncos already coughed up a 1st rounder next year for a second 2nd rounder this year? Thats a steep price to move up just to get a "New Face" as I saw someone refer to in another thread.

Was there some one at 51 that could help, yes, as I'm sure Mr Irrelevant could help to. You have to remember this is a business, and just because you can does not mean you should. Again this isn't Madden and fake monopoly money (Speaking of Madden I just traded Newman for a 1st round pick and a second round pick, anybody think thats going to happen in real life?)

Chill out and let the season be played out, because last time I checked, the Commissioner actually makes them play the games

Flame AWAY!!!
