cowboyjoe;2060369 said:this is what i think guys; first this is our picks for next year
our 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 minus # 6 for pacman if with team,
that gives us 6 picks,
then we got a 3rd and 4th in trades, one from clev. other detroit,
thats 8 picks;
then a # 6 for jason fergueson, yes a # 6 next year from miami
thats 9;
then for j jones, reeves, nate jones and davis 3-4 comp picks,
that makes 12-13 picks
1, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4 comp, 5, 5 comp, 6 from miami, 6 comp, 7, maybe 7 comp
12-13 picks
then jerry jones, said you use those picks, like he did with jimmy johnson to trade up, get a wow player,
if you look at our roster, we have about 9-12 opening spots
this year we drafted at least 4-5 player as keepers
along with 2-3 undrafted players, and jerry jones said they may look at drafting a veteran QB too
but i think main thing with those extra 3rd and 4th picks, they will be used to trade for a veteran WR, say if chad johnson comes available,
right now bengals cant afford the cap hit, neither could we yet, but after june 1st, bengals could trade chad johnson;
thats what im looking for jerry to do, use those picks in the summer to get a vet QB and make a run at chad johnson or roy williams wr from detroit,

Can compensatory picks be traded? My guess is not..
TEUFELI;2060113 said:Two words - Michael Crabtree
Nors;2060110 said:With a 13-3 roster stocked by Parcells
JJ was wise to defer to 2009 draft picks - most none of these day 2 guys even make our roster. Next year we unload it all to move - UP.
Valor;2060148 said:Could be a bigger pipe-dream than McFadden. Crab will be a Top 10 pick, and if things go as planned this year, we'll be drafting in the high 20s again. Meanwhile, a team like Philly, armed with two first rounders, will by lying in the weeds. And what if a crappy team like Miami simply says no to all trade offers?
BTW, is Crab even eligible? I thought he was a frosh last year.
Valor;2060202 said:That would make the Mendenhall-Jones debate look like a tea party. We'll never pay that price, nor should we. He's not a transformative, elite talent at his position.
