there is no way we can trade both 1st and then receive two 2009 1sts, as well as 4 2008 2nds..........

The only two teams that we could trade with would be Miami and Atlanta, and neither would be giving up 3 picks apiece for 2 late 1st rounders.....both of those teams need to actually accumulate picks so they can rebuild faster and more efficiently.

Something more feasible would be to trade our #28 for a 2nd and 4th.........I would be totally stoked if we could get a 2nd and 3rd, but I am not sure we would be able to swing that one.

1 - CB Antione Cason
2 - RB Chris Johnson
2 - LB Jonathan Goff
3 - WR Donnie Avery
4 - FB Owen Schmitt
4 - CB Charles Godfrey
5 - C Doug Legursy
6 - RB Anthony Alridge
7 - QB Paul Smith

I'd love to send Carpenter to Miami for and early second. Parcells always seemed pretty high on the guy and he doesn't fit the 3-4.

Theres a good chance Miami plays a 4-3, especially if they draft Dorsey. Should be interesting.

I like this idea of trading down from our 1st Rd picks, though I was skeptical at first, I don't care what anyone says. Many are regarding this draft is one of the deepest drafts ever. Just like every year, there will be guys sittin there still on the board at the start of the 2nd Rd that will have people saying "Wow! he's still on the board. There will be some studs well into the 2nd Rd, I would love to have 2 or 3 2nd Rd picks where we could still land a RB like Chris Johnson...CB's like Porter, Ikegwuonu, Thomas, Lee, or even Cason (I think he'll drop to the 2nd)... or WR's like Devin Thomas, Bowman Hawkins, or even Manningham. THe 3rd Rd will have some nice talent as well and trading down would probably get us an extra 3rd too.
