I was waiting for him to flick the ball back to his teammates on kickoffs.
Na mate he's a League player

Niners still have a very good defense, nothing specious about that. All teams have lost players, Niners moreso than some, but to say Niners are not a good team because of their record is actually more specious. No one knows how any team will perform, relying on the previous year performance is a poor barometer. 2014 Cowboys are a great example of that. Cowboys lost their best players on defense but still played well enough to tally 12 wins and a blown call away from the NFC conference finals.
That said, the Cowboys did not have Dez, Smith, Martin or Leary. Not much of a game plan either. But injuries happen in football ALL THE TIME. You play who you have. That was our 1st team offense vs. their 1st team defense. Even without many starters on their first team OL, Niners still ran roughshod on Cowboys "first team" defense. But the D held in the red zone. No one is lamenting or making excuses about the D.
Let's be clear about this, 9ers are having the off season from hell. Between bans, retirements, injuries, departures and bad luck they have lost more than everyone else by a wide margin. I'll see if I can dig up the photo of them all I saw on reddit, it was damn ugly.
Have you not seen the explosion from Lucky? I'm excited to see what he can do, even if you are not.
Dude has 2 good preseason games and people want to trade for him. Smh.
And this is a reason why the Cowboys should not consider a player from the 9ers like Jarryd Hayne? Perhaps I am dense, but that explanation does not make sense to me.

instant gratifications, coming soon to a board near you...
I'd like to hear an argument against why giving up a 5th-7th round pick for this guy would be such an issue or "smh" worthy? It's like you guys believe we will be giving premium draft picks for him.
And two preseason games of stellar play IS noteworthy. This guy is not only making plays in returns, but also the running game. Both of which are needs for us right now. This would be a no brainer if the 49ers were willing to take picks for him. This guy has hype around him in San Francisco for a reason.
like a fool, i chose to see this.
two FULL pre-season games? I mean, 2 ACTUAL PRE SEASON GAMES?????
i'd like to hear why people who think a player who has such value:
1) is on the market *to* be traded
2) and how (2) pre-season games is enough to know this kid is all that and a bucket of chicken.
maybe he is. maybe he's just a kid having a great pre-season game. or two. but for people to start fawning all over him when quite likely they never heard about him until the cowboys "pre-season" game is just stupid to me.
it's like this "magpie" syndrome where someone sees something shiney so they must have it even though they're still not quite sure what it is. hell, it shines now and always will...must have it...
that just gets old to me. if that's how you fill up your day, great. rage on and have fun with it. i'll just think it's stupid and move on.

1. EVERY player is on the market to be traded at the right price.
2. In both preseason games he has shown vision at the line to break off runs of 53 and 34, coupled with showing he has great talent as a returner. He has shown to have both vision and burst.
And it's hilarious, you and a lot of others on this board state such things like "Let's wait and see how they do during preseason" and then players perform highly during a preseason game and we get "Eh, it's just a preseason game. It doesn't matter". Which is it? Does it matter or not?
Now, no one is stating this guy is the next Barry Sanders. But it's clear he has big potential as a returner. But let's keep exaggerating like posters on this board are saying to give up premium picks for him.
and yet, no one ever dreaming up these madden situations ever stop to think that if this player has such value that we must have them and their mad skills, an irrelevant pick is a sure fire way to get such a rising star. if he were on the cowboys, would you take a 6th round pick for him? if no, why should they other than the glorious fact you like the kid?
Show me where in this thread anyone was making any such ridiculous trade offers? I'll wait.
He does have hype as a returner. What else can he do besides that?
You're kidding right? The Niners are still an NFL team that was talented enough to play in a SB in the last 3 seasons. Did you watch the Niners 1st team D against our 1st team O? Niners have talent, as do most NFL teams, no matter how lowly. Don't know if you have been paying attention but our return game and RB corps is not elite. Not even close. Hayne would be the best returner on our team right now. Forget Whitehead, Malena or even Beasley. He's also a truck on coverage teams. And dismiss his running style, competition (plays against the 3rd and 4th teams) and experience all you like, but the guy is averaging over 33 yards a kickoff, 22 yards a punt and over 9 yards a carry, for his NFL career (2 preseason games). I would take Jarryd Hayne over Lance Dunbar, as the 3rd RB as well.
Dunbar and McFadden's roles are superfluous anyway.
