If he is so good...why would they get rid of him.
That's what I see, lots of upside !!!
If you think about it, he's probably better than Lance Dunbar.
Why don't we have someone at RB or ST o get excited about like this?
Immediately improves return game, kick coverage and running back corps. Kid is end of bench player for Niners.
He's an end of bench player for one of the worst (and falling) teams in the NFC, but he somehow makes Dallas better?
Will he make their 53? They have Bush, Davis, Hyde and Hunter at RB.
There's talk that Kendall Hunter may be the odd man out. It's still close right now. But Niners have been in the trading mood, traded 2 TEs recently. They are currently in the market for some young OL.
Hey I like that picture of Randy and Harvey !!! Was that picture taken after the Cowboys beat Denver in the Super Bowl ?
In all seriousness, he could very well be.
Dunbar's one play was basically tripping over his own feet (again).
I sure wouldn't give up our OL depth for a player they will end up cutting.
Not saying give up Collins or even Green, but what about Gibson? Or a 2nd day pick. Or a combo of player and pick. Again, Niners have been in a trading mood and have not asked for anything ridiculous or received anything unreasonable for their surplus of TEs.
Whiners aren't going to give him up cheap. The guy is a stud from the looks of it. I'd rather us be concerned about our back up QB.
You're kidding right? The Niners are still an NFL team that was talented enough to play in a SB in the last 3 seasons. Did you watch the Niners 1st team D against our 1st team O? Niners have talent, as do most NFL teams, no matter how lowly. Don't know if you have been paying attention but our return game and RB corps is not elite. Not even close. Hayne would be the best returner on our team right now. Forget Whitehead, Malena or even Beasley. He's also a truck on coverage teams. And dismiss his running style, competition (plays against the 3rd and 4th teams) and experience all you like, but the guy is averaging over 33 yards a kickoff, 22 yards a punt and over 9 yards a carry, for his NFL career (2 preseason games). I would take Jarryd Hayne over Lance Dunbar, as the 3rd RB as well.
Dunbar and McFadden's roles are superfluous anyway.
The Niners have lost much of that talent that took them to the SB so that's a specious argument to make. I didn't see our first team offense actually play on Sunday. I saw the knock off rolex version of it for 3 plays which were designed to not get Romo touched in any way more then produce yards, because Smith, Leary and Martin were all not playing along with Dez. So having Romo in there made it look like our 1st team offense, but it really wasn't.
That's all part of the master plan to unleash Dunbar during the regular season. Make opposing teams think he is garbage. He is going to be super utilized this season, this time for real.In all seriousness, he could very well be.
Dunbar's one play was basically tripping over his own feet (again).
