Glad we signed Peters, and hats off to our front office for making it happen!
Good job Jerry!

But the reality is, is that he just replaces Tyrone, and we still have no suitable, quality back up swing tackle.

Are there any other options sitting out there that we should look at?
Do we just sit tight?

I believe Peters at LT and Tyler at LG is our strongest option, so I don't really want to see Tyler at LT if Peters is our starter and gets hurt.

yes we do its Tyler smith McGovern take LFG and he slides out. i mean the guy was penciled into stat at LT now hes not a Swing candidate??remember 5 best so if Steele or peters go down Tyler kicks out and Mcgoenrn takes LG or Peters is the swing how do we know hes starting?

I think Tyler Smith, who will start the 1st two games most likely, is your LT backup should Peters start. I think Ball and the other rookie are the backups at RT should something happen to Steele.

Lemme see, 17 games to play still. The probability of one more o-lineman getting hurt is highly likely.

But then to depend on the possible backup performances of Waletzko, Ball or both to save the day is not a risk worth taking.

So yep, I'm with jon van brocklin, they desperately need another decent swing tackle.

It certainly wouldn't hurt. But we'll see what they do.

You want, you want, you want. Nobody cares what you want and it ain't happening! Tyler will keep the LT position and Peters can play LG when he's ready. As for swing tackle, McG and Ball can fight it out. You can't have high quality at all 11 positions on offense all the time. Stop being greedy. It's not about what you want.

I think I could handle that task quite easily, John -- once Jason Peters got through with them, the cleanup should be a cinch! :flagwave:

that NOT why they singed Peters, hes either the starting LT or swing tackle. much easier like this

when Peters is ready if not game 1 the are not letting TB know ahead of time. if guys like Zeke and Dak and starters dont need PS neither does Peters. OL dont need to know the playbooks as well as some skill players..hes seen them all in his time..
they will catch him up during closed practices this week,

Peters-Tyler-Biadsz-Martin_ steele

Swing G= Mcgovern
SWing tackle is Tyler he kicks out if needed and Mcgovern tales LG
Farniok backup C emergency G

Ball and Wally are just emergency guys
