Ball or Wale would probably play RT, while Smith swings out to LT.
It's not that easy to switch sides, diff hand in the dirt, diff stance
We saw Steele struggle at LT last year when switched after La'el came back, Tyron hurt
Lot to ask of especially of Waletzko....Peters been there done that
Ball....looked no worse on either side :)

Glad we signed Peters, and hats off to our front office for making it happen!
Good job Jerry!

But the reality is, is that he just replaces Tyrone, and we still have no suitable, quality back up swing tackle.

Are there any other options sitting out there that we should look at?
Do we just sit tight?

I believe Peters at LT and Tyler at LG is our strongest option, so I don't really want to see Tyler at LT if Peters is our starter and gets hurt.

If they do sign a guy, unlike the Peters signing it will be after week one so the contract can be dumped if necessary.

Yes, we need more proven depth even with this signing.

Ball? And Tyler Smith can fill in a pinch now that Peters signed.

Peter’s can play another 3-5 years imo. We’re set at swing tackle.

We need him as the LT, Tyler at LG.
We still need a decent swing tackle.

I'm not sure the Cowboys see it that way, given what they've said. I think they want Tyler to take the LT job and run with it.

Peters is an insurance policy who can also play guard, but Smith is going to be given every opportunity to prove he can be the LT.

He's not ready I'm my opinion.
I would love to be wrong.
Does anyone think Peters would be happy as a backup?

What about Tyler smith? From what I understand, he’s not a starter with peters in the fold

It took them around a week to get this done. A swing might take 2 weeks!

Takes a while to do all those calculations with a pencil and paper. Especially when the budget for a calculator is tied up in jet fuel.

Hopefully, by the end of the season, that will be Steele.

It's inevitable. At some point we are going to see Ball.
