Im surprised we didnt do the one day contract thing

This actually shocked me, unless Ware is planning to unretire when he heals up. Otherwise this speaks volumes about Ware's love for the Cowboys.

i still dont see why he should have any. What did the organization do for him? He did everything they asked and than some. They did their best to not do their best. This is not hard.

Guess Ware got the last laugh. We kicked him to the curb, he wins a superbowl, we come knocking in desperation, he says no thanks and rides into the sunset. Not even a one day contract to retire a Cowboy.

Sad to her his back is in such a bad state. A 34 year old shouldn't be worried about whether he'll be able to stand back up when he sits down.

I'd doubt he was mad at the team. He knows it's just business. I'm happy for him that he won a ring. I agree with you about his back. I hope he'll be okay and doesn't have to be in a bunch of back pain. I'm bummed his career's over. Would have loved for him to help us beef up our pass rush.
