Sure we all want free agents, it's a major need on this team. Often times we spend too much on our own players, when maybe we should focus on guys that were on other teams .

With that said, we have to have a plan on what to do this free agency period. We can't just say hey we've been quiet, let's make major moves. There's moves you can make, without going the bottom barrel way we've been going. That way doesn't seem to be working too well. I'll be honest we've picked up a few players this way, and we got lucky!

We usually wait until the waves of free agency settle, I'd like to see us get in that first wave. Bring in a top guy, then sit back and nab someone else that could really help us, but not be super super pricey. We make these moves without blowing all our money, draft well, and I think this can really help us in 2023! Please give your thoughts

Definitely signing Payne, Bates III, Dean and David.
Did it on the official simulator for the NFL, Madden 23, so there's a great chance of it happening.

The plan, as we will be told by Jerry & Co., is that we aren't able to sign quality free agents as Dallas has to re-sign Diggs, Lamb, and Parsons soon.

Remember when all the GM fans on here screamed for Jerry to sign Clowney for like 3 years in a row. And what had he done for his teams he signed for. Good times.

Sometimes Jerry knows what he is doing. :muttley:

They have a plan. Target cheap free agents with potential upside. The problem is if they don't hit into the upside then most of the good talent has already been picked off. If they hit like Kearse then its awesome.

Their own free agents are also free agents. They count.

How about Von Miller? Who was better Von Miller or Armstrong and Fowler?

Jamel Dean(CB) and LaVonte David

The Al Davis way is the only way.
Lavonte David is like 36 years old... it'd have literally the same impact as the Anthony Barr bargain bin signing.

Way over the hill LBs and RBs are almost never an impact signing.
