The NFL is predominantly a rubber band league…that’s why I hate coming off huge lopsided wins….and playing teams coming off bad losses. Things generally return to the mean…
Suspect we will be locked in for next week while the Jags are coming off a big win. Momentum rarely carries. I expect a W next week.

Why were we able to blow the vikings out, or beat the bengals with rush? Not everything is 1-1 transferrable in this league.

Haven’t we done statements game already? Shouldn't we start to just ease where we can. Probably what happened today.

Honestly, even though I hate looking so bad at stretches in that game, I'm not sure beating them down would have really accounted for much moving forward. It would be expected, the hype would grow louder, and it would be difficult to avoid reading into it. Could be a blessing in disguise if they truly look in the mirror.

all 3 games same teams Colts, Jags, and Texans the eagle's needed 4 qtrs. to beat them,..they were NOT blowouts.

Classic camp cupcake trap game. The fans and the players fall for it every time.

Lets face it even the great teams of old threw clunckers during the season, no one likes it but when you can play like crap and still walk out with a win in a 17 game schedule...you take it. IF it continues then its a problem that was going to ruin the season at some point anyway.

They were great on the goal line stand and the two minute drill drive. 98 yards for the game winning drive was awesome.

And we still won. This must be the first time I am shock we won in an ugly game. In all my years watching this team… we lose here.

this builds more confidence in me and this team. We are winning games we typically lose. I hope we win more games when we trying to win.

Oddly, struggling to win some games probably improves playoff win probability more than blowout wins. The struggles identify the weaknesses that playoff teams will exploit.

They made scheme changes on defense after the GB loss that might not have happened if they had won. After giving up 240 and 207 rush yards vs the Bears and Packers, they made adjustments and all games since have been much better vs the run.
