We won't win until old core is gone

IMO this ship is beyond repair. Im not putting all blame on romo. Everyone deserves blame and we suck collectively. I knew we werent very good since new orleans. Have you guys seen the defense we trot out there? Ive read a bunch of posts from ppl with false hope. Get real fellas, we dont have the talent.

Lets face it, were mediocre at best. The defense is historically bad and the offense is wildly inconsistent. The coaching is terrible. Were not mathematically eliminated but we dont deserve it. We will not beat philly. Major changes are needed to fix this thing.

The older core of miles witten ware hatcher and romo. They have won nothing. Romo is a second tier qb. I posted that earlier in the week and got jumped from the "romo is savior" crowd. The real problem no one wants to talk about is LACK of LEADERSHIP. From the top down. This old core should not allow this.

Let romo go to a contender in 2015 while we rebuild in the meantime. If we hit on a HC with a creative qb friendly offense and hit on a qb in the draft we could be contenders in a couple years. We have not and will not win until the old core is gone.

the core should not allow things to implode like they are now. Our lockerroom is too "hollywood" like former players have said. Teams with good leadership don't have these issues. Leadership is the responsibility of the older core. And they have failed. And always have in that department.

Those five guys- other than Romo are pretty much irrelevant anymore.

I guess that is the problem now, isn't it? But the team no longer relies on them as much as they did.

They still try with Witten and they would love Ware to come back to the big-boy table, but they haven't been asked to shoulder anything much any longer.

I would argue that they are no longer the core any longer as it is...

They put up good stats, and it's been a good run, but all of them are nothing more than career losers. They may not be the problem, but they are certainly not the solution, and for what they are paid, the should be THE solution.

I disagree that Romo is a 2nd tier guy. Also Eli is a 4th tier guy and was able to win when the team was good. BUT with that said, I am with you, clean them all out, I am sick of looking at them.
