This guy has been on the team for three years and he doesn't know the plays? Seriously?

OTree is a VERY good special teams guy... he should be relegated to that from now on... and that ONLY...

The experiment that is Ogletree needs to come to an end, I agree.

Dude's got some obvious talent, so they'll keep trying to make it work.

Sad. Such high hopes. Occasional flashes of talent, but more frequent flashes of boneheadedness. That is not Jason Garrett/Cowboys football.

I agree. It's time for him to look for work elsewhere, big catch notwithstanding.

Call up one of the guys off the practice squad, and let Harris and Holley step up to the #3 role.

I think we might see him released once Miles and Dez are 100%. Maybe during the bye in order to get Radway ready.

This was his opportunity. He blew it.
I want to know where was Holley/
At least he showed he knows how to run a route.

he does? never seen it myself. he a had a few decent plays on some wr screens his rookie year. he might be track fast but doesnt show it on the field. he isnt particularly big nor he is elusive. he still doesnt know the plays and has shown to be lazy. he lacks the true talent, desire and smarts to be be successful.

Radway is on the IR...

If you have talent, you play well. Ogletree just isn't any good. In fact, he flat out sucks.

I agree you don't excuse anything but he came up big when it was really on the line is all I'm saying.

Bunch of over-reactions here. O-Tree has made plays, and that is not a common attribute in the NFL.

Has he been good? No. But the talent is there, somewhere, and it doesn't make enough appearances, yet. I think they'll spend some more time trying to extract it. Not for like 5 more years, but for the rest of this year? Into training camp next year? Sure.

Exactly. I rooted for Ogletree and I ignored all of the media's "he's too inconsistent" stories because all that matters to me is what I see on the field. I see him make a great catch and then 3-4 mistakes.

By this time, a good wide receiver, even one destined to be a #3 receiver, would show consistency and reliability. He does not show either.

Dude is a turd and has blown a huge opportunity please cut ties with this joker.

well at least in this case he made 3-4 mistakes and THEN made a great catch. He came up big and helped us win this game

agreed.

He and Bennett should stop looking lost... and get lost, instead.

Aside from fumbling on the 10 yard line, not knowing his hot reads against the blitz, continuously not knowing where to line up, atrocious blocking, showing absolutely no catch radius in the endzone, 5 catches in two back to back games as a full time starter in which he was getting almost unanimous single coverage ... I thought he did alright. You got to admit, the guy can catch a slant route against zero coverage with no safety in the middle.

Still patiently waiting to see where all this amazing physical ability is coming from. He looks like a former undrafted free agent to me, and not the "I'm 6'3" 210 4.4 but I came from a college nobody ever heard of" Miles Austin kind. More like the "I played at a major program under a former NFL Head Coach who has a ton of NFL connections but I didn't make any plays in college so no one wanted me" kind.

He is soft and not a hard worker, its a miracle JG has kept him around.

If I can't find his resume with a google search next week, I'm going to be very disappointed.
