Wearing hat backwards topic again

Yes.

That is just how idiotic our fan base can be and especially the media when it comes to the Cowboys.

Either way it still does not address the main point. Talking about someone wearing a hat backwards in relation to winning or losing is idiotic.

Your fighting a losing battle here, brain.. Honestly, it's about the stupidest argument to make against ANY quarterback.

But for some, it's why Romo hasn't won. For others, because he hasn't won, he shouldn't be able to, because he doesn't measure up in their eyes..

Both are equally crazy arguments.. smh

Kaepernick wears his hat sideways with the flat bill. And yes, it bothers me.

Not to derail the topic too much more, but Kaepernick's persona annoys the hell out of me. Just seems like he needs to grow up a bit. I'm allowed to say this because we're virtually the same age.

I am just waiting for the day that Kapernick actually wears a hat that fits him. haha.. Dude needs to stop trying to wear an adult hat. Get a kid's size or something. Doesn't bother me. Just funny. Kind of like anyone giving a crap how someone wears a hat.

I'm pretty sure that in most of the recent pics of Tony you will see a forward facing bill. Not sure about Witten though. He was also known to rock a backwards hat.

kaepernick vs romo playoff wins...then come back and let's talk.

Kaepernick defense vs Romo's defense....then come back and let's talk. When has Kaepernick had to actually "throw" to win the game? He's a mighty fine RB, but QB......

You think anyone would talk about Romo wearing his cap backwards if he was winning playoff games?

unfortunately we will never know because wearing it ackwards prevents romo from winning playoff games :D

i think, when NFL historians look at romo's career and list reasons why romo did not win more playoff games it will be something like this:

1-10: jerry jones put the team together
11-20: jason garrett was HC
21: wore his cap backwards

kaepernick vs romo playoff wins...then come back and let's talk.

so what you are saying is that Romo needs to be everone else's (female dog) unless he has more playoffs under his belt? If it was me, I would wear all my clothes backwards if that was the case o_O

anyways, playoffs have nothing to do with how you wear your hat. If they badger Romo for it, then God forbid anyone else wear it backwards either, otherwise the media and everyone else can just shove it

Do people have to use this idiotic reasoning for everything? And if Romo only had to throw 1TD and under 200 yards for his team to win, the Cowboys would win the SB every year.

exactly!! put kaeps stats here in Dallas and we would all be calling for the QBs head not just half of us

I know many complain about Romo wearing his baseball hat backwards. Hell, Cowherd said, stupidly of course, that was a reason he was a loser.

Romo stopped wearing his cap backwards at least 2 years ago. Everyone made such a big deal over it he stopped doing it.

Ivan Pavlov would have a field day with a room full of Cowboys fans, Tony Romo and a baseball cap.

OK, let me rephrase this

Romo+ Backwards cap + Garrett = 0 playoff wins
Romo + Backwards cap + BP = 0 playoff wins
Romo + Backwards cap + Wade = 1 playoff win

therefore

Romo + forward cap + real HC = multiple playoff wins

i rest my case

Let me try to make this simpler for you to understand. If Romo's production was the same as Kaep's, the Cowboys likely wouldn't win a game. Romo doesn't have the luxury of being able to produce pedestrian numbers that the Kaeps and Wilsons do.

bro kaep has had a 4 td game in the playoffs. wilson has had a 3 td game and lost.

what you don't see from them is the back breaking turnover from them like your boy romo loves to do when the spotlight hits him.

so ready for change....

you'd didn't like that drive he orchestrated right before halftime yesterday? he had several nice throws on that drive. you could tell that sapped life out of carolina and all of their momentum.

Romo straightening out his cap hasn't changed his or the teams luck and Garrett not wearing a cap hasn't improved his coaching.

Backwards cap or not, doesn't matter - Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and any other qb you have out there could not have taken this Cowboys team to playoffs in any of our past several years.

So hating on Romo is just ignoring the real problem and that is that our GM and coaches suck, and although we have a FEW talented players, the team as a whole just is not that good. Wanna fix what ails this team? start with the ones running it, then real football guys will know what players to purge and who to keep

you guys obviously dont understand how serious this is

i think this is because once you have worn your cap backwards, it is too late to go back

it is a cardinal sin with no prospect for redemption

It must be serious Garrett stopped weaing a cap this season like that would improve his game management.

Dallas has won a game when the QB threw for <=200 yards and <=1 TD 6 times since 2006.

Dallas has only beaten Washington when that happens with Romo - won 3 of those types of games in 7 seasons, (w11/2008, w11/2009, and w6/2013). McGee, Kitna, and Johnson have won one each.

SF has won a game when the QB threw for <=200 yards and <=1 TD 28 times since 2006, so yeah. Damn.

I will not be checking the QBs of the SF wins, but there's been 15 wins since 2011. SF has won 2x more games (7) from that type of QB play (Kaepernick) since week 14 2012 than Dallas has with Romo in the past 7 seasons (3).

-----

Here's records overall:
Dallas: 6-11 (35.3% win), 17 total average/poor games
SF: 28-30 (48.3% win), 58 total average/poor games
