My niece and her wife were here from St. Louis, and they were saying it's been triple digits with 80% humidity out there.About 95 today here in central Oklahoma, the heat done will intensify this week with highs 100+ for the next several days.
Yep, thought i heard on the news we have had over 20 days of 90+ temps already, and we are only a couple weeks into summer. It is about the same in Southeastern Oklahoma maybe a lil cooler still feels weird to type Oklahoma instead of Texas
Poop on that, didn't mind it when i was younger but the older i get i want cooler/cold temps. I really feel sorry for them as Oklahoma isn't the only state getting shafted. Around mid May most of the state was in various stages of a drought. Then for a 2 week period at the end of May/early June we got a bunch of rain, 6-8 inches of rain with some areas getting more. Since then it has been bone dry and the drought is slowly weeping across the State again. My niece and her wife were here from St. Louis, and they were saying it's been triple digits with 80% humidity out there.
Last day below 100, 99 today, and then up in trips for the next 14 days.
Last heatwave and I saw a dog chasing a cat and they were both laying down.
