Weeden was fine. He needed more help from the run game and D in the 2nd half. As in, more than the ZERO help he got.

I'm much more disappointed in the D. I know we were banged up on the DL but they got completely shredded. Oh well. On to the Saints and, hopefully, Luke McCown.

Sunday Night Football: Brandon Weeden vs Luke McCown? Sorry, NBC.

Except that the last time we saw mc own he started in place of cutler in Chicago and he shredded us for about a thousand and one yards in the air. I'm not sure we wouldn't be better off facing a banged up Brees

This is a different McCown. That McCown is with the Browns.

Josh and Luke I stand corrected

I still can't believe the Bears started Cutler again after Josh played the way he did. 13 TDs, 1 INT, and a 109 rating. Boggles my mind that Cutler is still starting after all these years.

Because everyone knew the odds of McCown repeating those types of numbers were very slim. He is 4 years older than Cutler (36 now) and has at best been an average QB in the NFL.
