Week 2: 10 things

Wilson played horrible last year for the most part. You can tell that someone is seriously coaching up this defense and I doubt it's Marinelli. Richard may be the difference maker.
I did find it odd that so many championed the "LB Coach" last year when LB play was pathetic outside Sean Lee.

Many of those same guys are playing better with that guy in Indy.

Anyone suggesting Taco was a bad draft pick is offering up a shockingly bad take.
Anyone suggesting he was playing poorly the last month of last year is just wrong.

Anyone championing Watt or other 3-4 OLB types had zero idea about our scheme or cared more about what we'd do post Rod M.

I still think the future is LVE at MIKE and Smith at WILL but it seems they might think the opposite.
I get plenty wrong but Jaylon being a Mike was something I called a year ago.
It's his natural position given his current body and athleticism.
He's the guy they don't wanna take off he field.
He can blitz, he can cover and he is a forceful tackler.

Maybe one day he'll have Sean Lee's head for the game and be All Pro.

Right now they play LVE on passing downs where his otherwordly athleticism works wonders even if he isn't the most physical tackler. He's really good in space because he eats up a lot of it.

We have such a vastly improved defense led by the crazy improvement at LB.
It's fun to watch all those guys.
