Week 2 Preseason Thread

I can't believe people still think Josh McCown is a quarterback. He threw jump balls to two trees in Chicago two seasons ago and he is still getting jobs. Crazy.

I think it's more of a "supply vs demand" situation than it is people actually believing McCown's a legit QB.

It's the same reason we see the John Kitnas, Kyle Ortons, Matt Cassels, Shaun Hills, Blaine Gabberts, etc, of the world make careers out of being journeyman NFL QB's.

Manziel hasn't looked terrible. The important thing is that he gets to play. Even a bad throw in live action against future Walmart cashiers is better than sitting on the sideline getting mental reps.

That scrambling around vs 1st string defensive guys won't fly. He's not that quick

Right. The players he was playing against in the last quarter of the game were arguably SEC quality defense at best. He still couldn't get it done. He's not a good player.

Don't necessarily disagree, but he has to prove that he can beat the 3rd stringers before worrying about 1st stringers. Just my two nickels.

You're right about that Wood. He did about as well as Tebow did vs scrubs.

Boy the Skins have issues...QB, the horrible Oline, holes everywhere.

So sad :)

As much as I want to rip on RGIII, Romo would be horrible behind that line, too. It's like fighting a lightsaber with a foam sword.

Boy they are lighting up the oline on ESPN 980. Fans and radio folks alike. Especially their new guard.

Not to defend him to much but he did complete the first down but OL getting penalties and sitting at 3 and 20 is tough for anybody. On fourth down he hit WR in his hands and he dropped it.

That being said he still has with to do if he wants to start. You have to lead that team down for the winning FG

No one likes RG-Me. Not even his OL. The fragging has begun.

The 80s skins OL was called the Hogs..............Their current OL should be called Los Matadores.......cause they do a great job of stepping aside and letting those Bulls run right by to gore the QB, who incidentally wears a red jersey.....yikes.

As were the players he was playing with.

The QB Taylor for the Bills is going to be a fun one to watch when he gets back Lesean and Harvin.
