Since Hostile already had a thread with Chiefs info started I thought I would just add this to it.

IRVING, Texas - Rumor has it a coin flip decided whether the Cowboys or Texans of the former American Football League would take over hegemony of Dallas, the football-sated city a short drive to the east.
With the competition, neither team could make a profit, though both wanted to stay. In the end, it was Dallas oilman Lamar Hunt moving his operation, the AFL's flagship team, northward to Kansas City and renaming them the Chiefs. Clint Murchison Jr.'s Cowboys stayed in Dallas. Finally, 46 years after they left, the Texans will meet the Cowboys on the field as the NFL honors its former rival league in the 50th anniversary of the AFL's founding.
What's Up?
While things may seem bleak in Cowboys America, coming off a frustrating loss in Denver that sank the team to 2-2, it's even worse right now for Kansas City. New GM Scott Pioli and new coach Todd Haley inherited a bad team, tied for the second-worst record in the league last year, and immediately commenced to rebuilding. They're shaping a 3-4 defense and brought in a new quarterback, Matt Cassel, but progress has been slow.
While the Chiefs have yet to post a win under the new regime, they should have a bit of an advantage in this week's noon (CDT) game at Arrowhead Stadium. Kansas City's coaching staff includes six former Cowboys contributors who should know a thing or two about the personnel they're facing. Going for the second straight week into an energetic and hostile AFC West stadium, the Cowboys will need to be at their best.
Statistical View
- After gashing the Cowboys for 143 yards and three touchdowns in his lone game against them in 2005, KC running back Larry Johnson has slowed considerably. He's averaging just 2.6 yards on 72 carries this year.
- Though he lacks the weapons he had last season in New England, Cassel can still make some plays. He's got five touchdown passes in three starts. He also has 58 yards rushing on 11 carries this year.
- No. 1 receiver Dwayne Bowe has been limited a bit with hamstring trouble, but still has 10 catches and two touchdowns. Second and third options Mark Bradley and Bobby Wade also have 10 catches apiece, with 213 yards and three scores between them.
- The new-look Chiefs defense is ranked 28th in yards and points allowed, giving up 28 points and 379 yards a game. They've allowed 250.5 yards per game through the air and averaged 128.5 yards allowed on the ground.
Chalk Talk Given the possibility of injuries, the Cowboys need to be mistake free this week. The Chiefs have looked like a bad team so far, but the Cowboys won't seem so special either if they are without their top receiver Roy Williams (ribs), playmaking safety Gerald Sensabaugh (thumb), most explosive running back Felix Jones (knee), offensive line anchor Andre Gurode (knee), and have Marion Barber (quad) and Jay Ratliff (back) banged up as well.
With Bowe hobbled the Chiefs lack a real playmaker on offense. That may allow the Cowboys to be aggressive in their defensive play calling. Offensively, the Cowboys will have to run the ball better than they did against Denver, a key to winning on the road.
