SOS data from tankathon.com/nfl using the entire 16 game schedule. Other sites may determine SOS differently.

Current Draft Order:

1. NYJ 0-8 .593 SOS: hosts New England next Monday night
2. NYG 1-6 .533 SOS: plays Tampa tonight, plays at Washington next week
3. Jacksonville 1-6 .543 SOS: hosts Houston next week.
4. Houston 1-6 .565 SOS: plays at Jacksonville next week
5. Dallas 2-6 .475 SOS: hosts Pittsburgh next week.
6. Atlanta 2-6 .556 SOS: hosts Denver next week
7. Washington 2-5 .483 SOS: hosts NYG next week
8. LA Chargers 2-5 .492 SOS: hosts Las Vegas next week
9. New England 2-5 .521 SOS: plays at NYJ next Monday
10. Minnesota 2-5 .521 SOS: hosts Detroit next week.
11. Cincinnati 2-5-1 .522 SOS: off next week

Week 9 - "Realistic" Best Scenario for Dallas:
1. NYJ 0-9 .593: Can't see them beating NE
2. Houston 1-7 .565: I'll give the home team Jacksonville the win vs Houston.
3. Dallas 2-7 .475: Can't see us beating Pittsburgh
4. Washington 2-6 .483: Higher draft spot than NYG due to worst SOS.
5. NYG 2-6 .533: Lose to Tampa tonight but sweep Washington next week.
6. Jacksonville 2-6 .543: Is this really a win for Jacksonville?
7. Cincinnati 2-5-1 .522: A bye moves them up four spots.
8. Atlanta 3-6 .556: Hosting Denver is a good shot at their 3rd win.
9. LA Chargers 3-5 .492: Beating LV is definitely possible
10. Detroit 3-5 .500: Loss to Minnesota gives them a top 10 spot
11. Minnesota 3-5 .521: Is this the start of a roll? Our next opponent after Pittsburgh.
12. New England 3-5 .521: Lose to NYJ next week and Brady is the real winner.
13. Carolina 3-5 .534: Can't see them beating Kansas City
14. Denver 3-5 .551: A lost at Atlanta is very possible

Note: SOS will change some during the season but Dallas' SOS is currently lower than anyone else in the top 15 drafting spots. It is significantly lower than most teams.
My way too early prediction for the 3rd pick overall.....Sewell, OT from Oregon. I think Lawrence and Fields (QB from Ohio St.) are locked in for the top two picks. Sewell is easily the best player on the board at pick #3.

I agree that the two QB's will go 1 and 2. I think the third pick will come down to need. Sewell is far from a lock for #3.

If we are in the top 5 end of the season, I would not mind trading back and maybe getting a second 1st or a high 2nd round pick out of it.

But then how would you get a quality starting qb ?

I thought it would be an update about dFlaws underperforming play.

But i guess there does not need to be another post about it.

My bad, sorry guys!

If we get the #1 Pick then you take Lawrence. I’m as big a Dak fan as they come and always defend him, but this is a no brainer. If I was GM I’d be making moves to get that #1 pick.

Will the jets give up on Darnold? Can you imagine if were #2 and they pass on Lawrence.
if they stay with Darnold they will reap the benefit of a trade for the #1 spot not anyone else unless Jerry wants a cheap QB and is willing to give up a lot of draft capital.

Thanks. This is perfect. I wish Jerry can have this on his bathroom mirror and make sure the same idiotic coaching staff does their part.
Winning any more games this year is counter productive. Let's not screw up a royal opportunity here.
If Jerry really believes he has a core, ( outside of QB... that is me saying the QB part). Getting a cheap FRANCHISE qb will really put the boys in a position to spend and build a great team around the biggest advantage in professional sports.
Teams like the Falcons, Eagles, Rams are all screwed. With the cap at a best case scenario remaining flat they have to make some tough roster decisions.
Don't be dumb,

Man we really need the Jets to win some games, but they have their guy Gase.. He is the perfect incompetent coach. They will fire him the day the season ends.
They have a legitimate 0-16 opportunity. Now we need Lawrence to pull and Elway or Manning which i think would be awesome.. Do it Trevor.
Dallas or the Jets???? Not even a comparision
