Week 9 The Enemy Cleveland Browns Analysis Time

Dallas should absolutely truck the Browns. Will they? This game is the very definition of a trap game. Cowboys have been it a prove it phase for 7 weeks.

NYG, WA, CHi, SF, GB, Bye, Phl - all were games the rookies, defense, and team overall were questioned if they were legit. Now comes the Browns after everyone believes they are legit with the Steelers the following week. Cleveland is the only "gimme" on the remaining schedule so it would be easy for the team to let their guard down.

ME either. Under Wade Philips I'd worry. Garrett won't let the team overlook the browns. We're playing for homefield/bye at this point.

Dallas should win, of course.

But I think the Browns offense will be pretty good with Josh McCown back, to go with Cory Coleman coming back, Terrelle Pryor, Crowell, the TE, etc.
Highly doubt they can keep up though.

Browns actually play good football for about 2 quarters. Second half of the game I think they secretly switch in some JV team.

The Browns are so hard to evaluate.

Harder than anyone we have faced all year, other than if you want to be lazy and just say they are awful and move on.

They have so many misfits and reclamation projects, it is so hard to see if they have a plan and a way to use that talent.

There are worse rosters in this league believe it or not.

Here are some facts.

The emotional leader of this team, right here right now, is Dak Prescott. I'm not talking next week, or the week after. This week he is the eye of the storm. The defense is drawing energy from the offense and what Dak is doing. This is not a Hooray Dak comment, it just is what it is.

Dak is fanatical about preparation. He is infusing that type of attitude in this team.

Again this is not a thread to say he is better or worse than anyone. It is merely what is transpiring at this moment in time.

Dallas will be prepared.

Dak and Zeke are feeding off each other and having a great time playing. The rest of the team sees this, and the mood is light. They are having fun and winning.

Dallas will take this game seriously because the lightning rod twins for this team will be focused and prepared.

Dallas will beat down the Browns.

This is not a trap game. They will not have a hangover because of the Eagles game. This team will take control and beat the snot out of these guys, like the Allies beat the Germans.

I am worried about this game. Dak looked rattled last week and we lost two key players on defense. Browns are better than their record. They have nearly won several games this year.

Every QB has a stinker, or 2 in a season. Dak's first stinker wasn't until the 7th game, and we still won.

Only thing that scares me is Dallas Defenses in the past would make the QB combo in cleveland look all pro and the team eeks out a close victory

wth. The Browns from Cleveland...the mistake by the lake...they should be playing in tne CFL. They can not stop the RUN. End of story..Elliott runs for 450 yrd and 10 TD's and the Cowboys fly back to Dallas. This won't even be competitive.

Sounds like Kessler is starting. He is having an excellent year. He is right there with dak and wentz statistically.

That offense is going to be a real problem.

I think it will be a tight game also. They play offense similar to how we do, lot of shotgun 11, slot sets with fullbacks. Deep ins, 9 routes. There big wr can go get the ball and they are mismatches and louis and hawkins look like good players inside.

We do not have the kind of defense that takes advantage of an average line so they will make plays on offense.

I don't really see anyway we win big like so many people think unless kessler plays and turns the ball over a bunch.

a lot of this season has been like 2014 and this feels very much like the jaguars game in 14. Similar type of dangerous weapons on offense. That was a tight game until they fumbled a punt.
