This is one I had us having to win. Looks a little more plauseable now.Cowboys have played well in openers lately. To get to 9 or even 10 wins this is one we have to find a way.

At least from the gate, the speed at scoring has to take the rail and hit a pace...

I disagree.

As pitiful as they were at times last year, the Cowboys were a field goal away from going to the playoffs.
However, that is the closest this Cowboy team has been to the playoffs in 3years. I hope they win but man I don't know. It just don't look realistic...SF has been in the NFC championship game year after year..and oh a Superbowl. Jim Harbaugh will find a way to steal Garrets lunch money and then eat his lunch.....

SF is stacked with a lot of good players with depth
Cowboys are pulling people off the medical wire and out of retirement to start...

Yes, I will take that bet. How much?

Let's start of with ten...if it becomes payable, I'll use jobber to hold the sum.

Let's to a sig bet next, if the Cowboys break above even...then your signature block reads: I was schooled by CCBoy. If they don't, then my signature block will read: ufcrules me.

Game?

Pretty much true. Whenever you think it has to go one way, it's the other that shows up.

Yea I don't know why people always go in expecting something to happen and it rarely does lol. This is the NFL. Upsets are every week. We were suppose to get blown out by the Bronco's last year. No one thought we'd score 48 points and have a shot to win that game in the 4th quarter. Its why games are played on the field and not on paper.

The 49ers are very strong on both sides of the ball.

While the Cowboys have a great offense, the Cowboys are undoubtably going to be a one-sided team.

You have to hope the Cowboys get up early.

The thing is last year SF was very limited on offense for most of the year because Crabtree was out. So they had Boldin who is decent but old and then Davis as their only other receiving threats. That will be a lot different this year with Crabtree back and the addition of Johnson. Then there is always the threat that KAP will take off and run.

I watched the Niners play quite a bit and Im just not impressed with their passing game. Crabtree is talented yet he just doesn't live up to it. Davis is under utilized and they don't seem to gameplan using his skills. Kap is not that great as a passer and the changes to the rules with the pistol formation has limited his abilities as a dual threat of either running or passing. To be frank I'm not at all impressed with their offense despite the talent that they have on that side of the field.

The Dallas D usually has problems with teams that are great a passing. They absolutely got shredded by Denver and the Saints. If the Dallas D can contain Kap's ability to pass and force him to use his legs I think Dallas has a good chance of winning this game.

Ya but 49ers lost 3 starters in the secondary, MLB, OLB and NT are out. That's half their starting Defense out. That's not including the offense side

Games that we expect to be high-scoring often end up strangely low-scoring instead.

Many predicted a high scoring shootout between the Cowboys and Eagles last year, first meeting.............. the Cowboys won 17-3.

To my mind, there's no question about the Niners being favored in Game #1. That won't mean that the game is a lock for SF to extract a resounding win, though. They'll have the disadvantage of playing against a vastly unknown commodity while we won't. I'm expecting a competitive contest. More often than not, that's been the case in most of the #1 games of the season. It's far from hopeless.

Ok, you want to bet me that Rolondo leads the Cowboys in tackles this year for $10 right?

Then you want to do a sig bet that the The Cowboys will be better than 8-8 at the end of the season? Ok, I will take that one too. I think they will be worse than 8-8.
