Week One looks like an offensive explosion in the making

I am not. San Francisco is not designed to blow out anyone.

I expect a loss, but it will likely come from an unfortunate coaching decision.

Now I wouldn't be surprised with that.

The 49ers offense sucks just as much as our defense. Here are the teams they scored more than 30 points against last year: GB, STL, HOU, TEN, JAX, TB, ATL, ARZ. One decent defense amongst them.

They totaled 39 points in 3 games against Seattle, 32 in 2 games against Carolina, and were held to single digits in 1 game by each of those teams. They managed only 7 points against the Colts.

There is no reason - other than buying into hype machines - to think that the 9ers are going to roll over the Cowboys...especially without the guys that they are going to be missing. The 9ers have just been the beneficiary of a terrible NFC and make sure not to beat themselves against inferior teams. That's the only thing that has set them apart from teams like Dallas, Philly, ATL, GB, Car, etc. in the past couple of years. They've got no explosive playmakers and a defense that has lost a step.

I'm not going to make a win prediction, but I would be far more surprised to see SF win in a blowout than the cowboys.

If we come out hot and connect with Dez early, I see this game being ours. This team can put up points quickly if enabled. Dez will be almost too hot, but this is the game to use all that bottled up enthusiasm. All day until it is awkward, etc. similar to that TO 20 catch game in the playoffs a ways back It would do wonders as a statement to the league (Dez-Romo) and confidence builder for this young team. Of course as I type that, Dez will be tripled and Witten will start running down the seams again

Because I replied to your post that said Dallas would win by at least 14 which is just laughable to me. All you want to do is talk. When I ask you to back it up, you just talk some more. You aren't betting because you KNOW you would lose. All talk and no action!

No but why would I give you points, you wanna bet we bet straight up no points. Dallas is the underdog why would I give you any points.

The Cowboys have a tendency to make the back up on opposing teams look like all pros. I dont care if SF is missing half its starters. They will give the Cowboys fits win or lose. And until proven otherwise. This is still an 8-8 team.
