He's fast enough to catch rats in a crawl space.when u say mobility, are you talking straightline speed or change of direction.
from what i read, it seems his straightline speed recovered long ago.
Correct.
The knee has completely healed.
The peroneal nerve is approximately 95% by now, which means his foot and ankle are at least 98%. The push-off in the foot was not effected.
But we frequently see athletes being hesitant and less aggressive following a major painful injury. It’s like touching a hot stove; deep-seated aversions cause us to fear repeating that, and it takes a lot of effort and some time to overcome them.
It looks like he’s coming along as good as we can expect. I agree with the consensus of the CZ poll on this subject, taken several months ago, which generally concluded that he would show some skills this year, and be a difference maker next year.

Good catch on picking that up,sbark!Collingsworth mentioned his ability to cover the TE's, Gotta say for a team that usually kills us with J.Reed etc..........Skins passes to TE's Thurs nite were pretty limited
Like to see the tape, presume maybe it was Jaylon being in position, likely also some of B.Jones? Maybe alot of it being J.Reed not playing
I recall it had something to do about the demise of the petro dollar,,,pretty sureIt’s a conspiracy.![]()
I seem to recall one of the things Byron does well is cover TEsGood catch on picking that up,sbark!
I obviously missed that observation by
Collinsworth( ya,know? I like that guy up in the booth, many folks appear annoyed and break off with disparaging remarks about him but he's been doing it so long now, it just wouldn't
seem the same without Al& him calling those games)
That was him we put on the 'gronk' wasn't it?I seem to recall one of the things Byron does well is cover TEs
I don't think you have to worry about a guy like Jaylon's psyche though. He's not even suppose to be out there playing and most wouldn't. But him being out there is due to the psyche he does have. For me it wasn't so much that Jaylon sucked, he really did, it was aimed more at the coaches for leaving the dude out there to fail. Thats a sure fire way to ruin a young athlete's psyche. Possibly for his career. He was fine with spot duty at first and they should've eased him into a role especially with his horrific injury. I'm sure Jaylon himself was a little doubtful.Im a huge ND fan, Golden Domer here, and I knew what Jaylon could be capable of.
I think if they get their way they will. That price though. I'm hoping we let Carr, Leary, Church, etc. go to save up money to sign guys like Hitch or Lawrence or Irving.Sure hope the FO re-signs Hitchens. Solid LB.
Great perspective. Optimistic but real. Love it.I don't think you have to worry about a guy like Jaylon's psyche though. He's not even suppose to be out there playing and most wouldn't. But him being out there is due to the psyche he does have.
He was bad. Liability bad. But my stance has always been that if he isn't hurting himself more.....he should get his bad out the way now and he ready next year. Because right now he needs to learn the game. When his body catches up to his mind? It's going to be over for the league. Can't do that on the bench IMO.
