As much as the rankings mean nothing, ESPN will place the 'boys in 9th spot.

Ok, I already know they have so it's not much of a prediction.

At least they did, it has now went to 'null' for this week.

No way we crack the top 13. They have some guy called Pat who thinks we still aren't a good team after beating the his Falcons. He'll rank us in the 20s again.

So, how many notches down the Power Rankings did Dallas fall? You know, now that we proved that Atlanta was never a "for real" team by beating them. And clearly the Giants should catapult upward, because they're obviously saving their strength for the stretch-run by strategically losing their last two games. I mean, has a team ever executed fottblall strategy better than that team? All they do is executre so well! And boy oh boy, those Eagles...WOW...not only winning on the road, but on Monday Night no less! Man, that should count for at least 2 ticks up the Power Rankings for sure!

I am hoping we fall at least 1 spot or stand pat while lesser teams catapult us, lol.

Nope, looks like they are. If you didn't know, you can backdoor into the rankings before the announce the entire list.

If you didn't know, go to the team page, and click on ranking. From there you can use the drop down to check other teams as well. You cannot click the week as it will just go back to the main page.

Usually about 1130 - 12 PM EST these things start showing up. Not all are there right away, but usually you can find the ranknings for all the teams before they ever post it on the main page.

You did not get the memo from :espn: telling us that the Cowboys suck. I know Linda Cohn and Chris Carter got there's. So it looks like you and Trent Dilfer did not receive that memo.

We're still ranked 22nd on defense and that's not acceptable!

Just like letting Atlanta score a garbage TD is not acceptable.

Oh what crap......Arizona got passed by Dallas after beating a team that beat Dallas.

This is outrageous. This is preposterous. This is a travesty and crime all in one.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/10/27/week-seven-power-rankings/

11. Dallas Cowboys (4-2) (Last week: 15). Maybe after the season the Lions will offer the Cowboys a first-round pick, a third-round pick, and a sixth-round pick for Miles Austin. :laugh1:

9. Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) (Last week: 11). During Monday night's pregame, receiver DeSean Jackson inadvertently paid homage to Ralph Wiggum by uttering the word "unpossible." (ESPN already has offered Jackson a post-football job as an analyst.)

18. San Francisco 49ers (3-3) (Last week: 14). The return of Alex Smith means that it's one big step closer to the arrival of the Nate Davis era.

29. Cleveland Browns (1-6) (Last week: 29). The players had the flu, and the fans have nausea.

Right Florio, so the team who lost to the RAIDERS moves UP two spots due to beating the lowly Washington Deadskins, while the Cowboys convincingly beat a playoff team from last year...

Didn't Jackson leave the game due to injury? Did he come back at all? Any word on the injury?

He came back in the game later. X-rays were negative. Don't know if they were x-raying his brain or his foot, though?
