in 120 years ND has had only 12 losing seasons. Sooner or later it happens to everyone.

I think it would be a huge mistake to fire Weis and let me just say that I doubt it would be Weis leaving. It would be ND sending him on his way IMO. The belief that these are Weis' players is crazy. His only in his second year of recruites. The Juniors and Seniors who should be the backbone of this class are where? I think there are issues with ND in there recruiting class because I don't know if they have game breaking players signed in there Fresh and Soph classes but I don't think you can say that Weis is playing with his players right now. Freshman QB and very young team with little upper classman talent tells the story IMO. ND will be back. They always are but I really think it's high time they join a major conference. The Big 10 would be a great fit IMO. The Big 12 might also be a nice fit. The days of the Independant are over IMO. They need to join a Power Confrence before NBC pulls out on the completely.

Every ND fan knew this year was coming ( didnt know it would be this bad )

But in Ty's last 2 years he recruited 2 O-lineman. Guess what sucks? yea the O-line! Charlie has 2 top 10 recruiting classes ( So & Freshmen now ) and right now he has the #1 rated class coming in this year so far. If people think ND wont make major improvements next year your crazy.


One other thing. ND fans arent calling for his head. Its the haters & media.

Will those recruits stay with their verbal commitments and actually sign come signing day? It is possible that these embarrassing losses may cause a recruit to change their minds.

yea of course they suck right now I agree. But it was said they suck under him. That my friend means all 3 years he has been here. They are having a awful year but he will turn it around once his 1st recruiting class hits their Sr. year. Right now they are only sophs. Weis and ND fans will get the last laugh.

Well that's not the way I took it, they suck this year and they're under Weis' coaching.

I never said anything about them NOT ever turning it around and bouncing back. I'm sure they will, they have too much of a presigious history to stay down for long. But I can enjoy it while it lasts can't I?

No, the selection committee put them in those games, because I'll admit this, they draw an audience. Notre Dame is a love or hate em type of team.

How is Michigan and Ohio State not doing well have ANYTHING to do with Notre Dame sucking ***. The Big 10 has long been a SEVERELY overrated conference, with only Ohio St. showing any semblance of decency.

Weis was on the Stephen A. Smith Show and he asked him twice and Charlie said he will not leave ND on his own. ND would have to get rid of him. He wants to coach here until his son graduates from ND and I believe he his son isnt even in high school.

They've been a bad team. They play MANY cup cake games, like Air Force and Navy.

Off the top of my head I can't remember their record against ranked teams, but it's been pathetic how badly they have been beaten up by quality teams. But they're Notre Dame, and if hte ylose 2-3 games, theyll still get big Bowl invites over more deserving teams.
