Welcome Chris Whaley

I wonder how he has come along from his ACL surgery.

If he had not torn in ACL, what round was he projected to be drafted in?

That or PUP him. He can rehab with Spencer for a while.

Yes, they probably start all of them on PUP.

I like the idea of using PUP/IR to carry more developmental players on the roster.

Highlights that don't show complete snaps are almost worthless. DL is very difficult to get a feel for with a small sample size as it is.

I did not realize it until just now. I think he is the kid that got hurt during the WVU/Texas game and was carted off the field.

Probably would have fallen into rounds 5-6 in that range. A slight step above players like Jimmy Staten in the 5th. His injury may have made players like Jay Bromley and Khyri Thornton more valuable as there was a shortage of three techniques after Donald. He is worth redshirting.

Looks like he got hurt on Nov 9th, don't know when he got surgery, but it may be a stretch to see him back this year. Hope he can, would be good to get him some reps. and see what we have going into 2015.

Glad he's here, frustrated we gotta wait...

It is going to be a crowded group at DT is players like Bishop and Coleman turn out to be legitimate. I would rather redshirt him and ensure his health than rush him back and expose him to other team's taking him off a practice squad or force us to cut him to begin with.

IR him, get him ready for next year. I think it was a great signing.

No doubt, simply alluding to the fact that we get a lot of broken gems...
