Just saw Wes Welker go down with a horrible looking knee injury.

No confirmation on extent. but if you see the play you know he's done.

He looks done... but you never know...

They just took him off in a cart...

Feel bad for the guy. I hate seeing serious injuries happen, especially to guys like Welker who you can't help but respect for how they play the game (even if he does play for the evil empire).

Dang, I think he was 2 catches short of having the 2nd most in a single season. He only got 1. I feel bad for him, hes a good guy..

I hate seeing the more talented players of the league get injured. I don't like seeing any injuries, but I really hate it when they involve the upper-echelon.

Gotta feel for Welker - the Pats - not so much.

Welker is the only one on the Patroits I feel bad about getting injured. He is such an awesome player :(

I'm no doctor, but it looked like a ligament tear to me. Big shame; this is why teams rest their starters, Mr. Goodell.

I wonder if Bill Billicheat is still happy about his decision to play his starters. Tom Brady always says "we do what the coaches tell us to, no questions asked". Do you think he's asking questions now that his best WR option is done?

If you think that Belichick cares about any one player, you are sorely mistaken. He is a plug and play coach.

You always feel bad for the high effort guys who beat the odds and find a spot in the league. This is especially true for those whose spot is the Pro Bowl.

It'll be interesting to see if Brady/Moss can carry that offense. It will be a bit of a statement of how good a player Moss is at this stage of his career.

And that is why you rest your players when the game doesn't matter. Welker should have never been out there to begin with.

That Edleman kid will fill the role...he is serviceable...reminds me of Austin Collie on the Colts.

Have you seen his defense this year? He's "plugged" in players to replace Harrison, Vrabel, Bruschi, Sanders, etc and it hasn't worked very well. How do you replace a guy like Welker?

I'm not saying that it works. I'm just saying that that's his philosophy.

He looked like he was in a bunch of pain. The kid doesn't look too shabby, though.
