I stated this week that, if we struggled on D against the Jets that Eberflus should be sacked. He did better today. Well done Eberflus! I don't know how much of it was just the Jets being useless and how much was Eberflus making adjustments. However, I did see a few more man coverages, so I think he did take to heart what Diggs was telling him.

Keep the pressure on the QBs!! I think there's still room for improvement, but today was better, especially from the rushing standpoint. So, yes, all in all, Eberflus did well today.

Against a poor QB and not very good OL we still gave up way too much on the ground and in the air

So bluntly speaking only a drunk or stoned person would pat him on the back after this game

The defense was not putrid but it still stank

It's the NFL and the score is all that matters. We're going to really improve

I thought it wasn't coaching though? He's still a mediocre coordinator that can't maximize a less talented defense

I’m afraid the increased pass rush is due to more stunts and twists and that the stunts are costing us in the run game. When you twist and stunt you leave massive running lanes open and that’s what we’re seeing.

Stank is an improvement. Not saying he was brilliant, but it's at least an improvement.

Why do you hate the Cowboys so much? Are you really a Cowboys fan? Serious question because 99.9% of your posts are all negative.

Still some things that need corrected, but anytime you enter the 4th quarter only giving up 6 points your defense has done a good job.

I say this about players all the time, and it needs to be said about coaches too...1 great game is great, but everyone is good and capable at this level. The true sign of success in the NFL isn't can you do something, but how often can you do it. The next couple of weeks will be very telling if this defense is starting to turn a corner or if this performance was the outlier. The arrow is certainly pointing up though.

Let's not get too excited. This is the winless Jets we just played. We own NYC, but let's not get it twisted. We do this to Washington in a couple weeks we circle back, but for now... it's still Uberpuss. Don't forget about those last 2 tuddies they got in garbage time...
