Dude please, you're embarrassing yourself.

I don't really think that you can gripe about the playcalling all that much, afterall hindsight is 20/20. You can say that the stats indicate that there is no correlation between penalties and winning or losing. However, in today's game they had some big penalties at the most inoppurtune times which changed the complexion of the game. I think the injury to Kosier most likely also affected what they wanted to do in this game, but I could well be wrong. Anyway, until they start playing better ball across the board this team will continue to struggle regardless of what we individually (as fans) think of the playcalling in my opinion.

The problem with this franchise is that Jones CAN NOT admit defeat...

He will hang in there for years and years just to prove critics wrong...

Great Owner? You betcha...

Great GM? NO WAY...

He needs to separate between the two, but he can't/won't...

Remind me why he's a great owner again please....

Raiders. We all know what a cluster that team has been the last 5-8 years.

Ah yea. Thanks. I think Al's son runs the team but that would be ownership. Okey dokey. And Al is Jerry's hero. Makes sense.

I'm sticking my head in the sand this week and calling next week the do-or die bowl. Actually the next two weeks are.

It's easy to get discouraged this soon, but it really is too soon. A simple thing like a two game home winning streak combined with some pretty reasonable good fortune could turn this next month into a an absolute dream scenario.

This is pretty long, but it has to be to show how it isn't that crazy to have a dream month. Here is a detailed view of how our division could see the next month play out.

WEEK 7
-------

Somehow, some way our unlovable idiots win at home against the scummiest of scum. Maybe it's the full moon (if it's a full moon?), but the team with more yards and more time of possession also has more points for a change. Eli stills has the nerve to sign our visiting locker room - " You're still in last place ~ love Eli"

The Skins find the one team with more luck then them and lose on the road in Chicago.

The Titans abuse the Eagles run defense and improve their record to 5-2. Vick is back.....literally. :)

PHI 4-3 0-1 div lost to Tenn
NYG 4-3 0-1 div lost at Dallas
Was 3-4 1-1 div lost at Chicago
Dal 2-4 1-1 div win vs NYGscum

Week 8
-------
We finally play two games in a row at home. The Jags and their jags show their true spots dropping two straight. Believe it or not, the refs actually give the home team the benefit too. We win easily.

The only other division game is the Commanders who play the Lions. And in typical Washington fashion, they lose their second straight sending their fandom into meltdown..

PHI 4-3 0-1 div bye
NYG 4-3 0-1 div bye
Dal 3-4 1-1 div win vs Jags
Was 3-5 1-1 div lost at Detroit - not really an upset :)

Week 9
-------
boy does this sound familiar. We play at the Packers. They are banged up big time. They are on a 4 game losing streak having just lost to the vikings and Jets. They are 3-5 and a loss would be really bad for them. This is 2009 all over again. Unlike last year though, we are also still in dire straights at 3-4. Also unlike last year, we do beat a banged up team on the ropes because this isn't 2009, this is my dream scenario.

The Giants come out of the bye sloppy and undisciplined, just like they started the season. They face a mediocre Seahawks team riding high on a two game winning streak. The long trip, the long lay off, and the crowd noise is too much, they lose their second straight.

In addition, The Eagles are simply outmatched by the Colts. Even at home, It was never close.

Dal 4-4 1-1 div win at Packers
PHI 4-4 0-1 div lost vs Ind
NYG 4-4 0-1 div lost at Seattle
Was 3-5 1-1 div bye

Week 10
--------

Look at that. A simple three game winning streak, and some reasonable, but bad luck for our division foes could have us in first place mathematically in three short weeks.

And look at that. Strange scheduling has us playing the Giants twice in a month. We are riding high, and they are coming apart at the seams.

One dream month, and we get to write the notes in the Giants new stadium. "Look who is in last place now!"

The Commanders and Eagles also play again. And once again, Mcnabb finds a way to win against his old team breaking their losing streak.

Dal 5-4 2-1 div win at NYG
Was 4-5 2-1 div win vs PHI
PHI 4-5 0-2 div lost at WAS
NYG 4-5 0-2 div lost vs DAL

So I'm going to ignore the doom and gloom. Football season is supposed to be enjoyed, and if I can find some enjoyment head in sand, so be it. 4 weeks, 4 wins and first place. Sand washes out eventually.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of us I say.

Admitting this season is a waste =/= Wanting this season to be a waste

It is. Everytime I go to a game there, and cowboys lose, I feel like I just lost a lot of money. Heck even well to to do, i.e guys making way over six figures think twice about going to a game with family there. You are talking about almost 1K for a family of 4/5 to go to game and get the works, for normal nosebleed type of tickets.

So if you don't put a good product on the field, it won't matter for fans. Thats where Jerry made a mistake. He wanted to build a monument. He did, but he is totally screwing fans with the product on the field.
That's why I'm sure he'll make a coaching change. People don't have to worry about him being stuck on Wade.

But the problem is that after the new of the press conference where Jerry sells the world on how the new guy is going to coach all this talent he's put together to the Superbowl as soon as THIS YEAR! wears off, he'll most likely go back to undermining the structure of the team as he enjoys playing Benevolent and Famous King Jerry.

Sucks to be in this situation, but we still have things to cheer for this year.

1) Dez offensive rookie of the year

2) Demise of our NFC East rivals

3) An exciting draft pick if we keep sucking

4) alternative head coach watch

5) Demarcus Ware sack race

just to name a few

This is the greatest talent to waste ratio team in the history of the NFL...

Seriously...

Hard to disagree at this point.

I wished you could show it to me because I was looking for it and didn't see it. We are the most predictable team in the league.

We even ran it three times in a row.

1-10-DAL 18
(7:34) 28-F.Jones up the middle to DAL 24 for 6 yards (93-K.Williams, 52-C.Greenway).
2-4-DAL 24
(7:04) 28-F.Jones up the middle to DAL 27 for 3 yards (56-E.Henderson).
3-1-DAL 27
(6:33) 24-M.Barber right tackle to DAL 30 for 3 yards (33-J.Sanford, 20-M.Williams).

That must now make us unpredictable!

If this continues, I think there will be several blacked out games next season. But than, who knows - jerry may reduce ticket prices if we go 3-13, or worse.

Can't wait to see who our next coach will be, and if he has any real power.
Right now - I would bet the new coach will be Red.

You apparently cant do math my friend, we are talking about a 5% chance of making the playoffs at 1-4. Only 5 teams have accomplished this feat since the playoff format was expanded back in 1990. So we are talking about 5 teams in the past 20 years.

In the 50 year history of this franchise, we have never started a season 1-4 and advanced to the playoffs.

So saying anybody that thinks we are done "is not a fan" is more of a reflection of your lack of understanding of the game and of history.
