Yes, hopefully we can get Jeanty, a NT, a guard or tackle, and a WR. I'd love it if we somehow got Tee Higgins.

I don’t see them replacing Mazi yet. He likely plays out his 4yrs and then goes UFA.

RB1 is a must have. No more cheap RBs.

Mingo might be the WR2 we are looking for.

Doesn't change the need for a NT lol. And yeah, Jeanty would be a great pick.

Beginning to question whether Kerry Joseph is going to get the QB coach job after all. That seemingly should have been a slam dunk, having coached under Schotty in SEA and then under Flusy (...yeah, we have flusy for a DC... I think that has to be the nickname, don't it???)... in CHI.

But if reading the tea leaves accurately, they wanted to wait to give the new OC a voice in the hire... and perhaps the OC is dragging his feet a bit, and wanting to see a wider net cast (?).

And for what my opinion should matter... not a damn thing... I'd rather see someone with a bit more success in the league either as a player or a coach or both... not sure Joseph has a lot to offer Dak in the way of coaching.

I'm still awaiting how the new OL coach role is gonna be placed or handled.

Assuming Lunda Wells remains the TE coach, and Adams who will be the new OL coach ?

Also very strongly assuming (and dearly hoping) we have a new and improved OL coach in mind,....instead of the dreadful Mike " Sorry" Solari.
Sorry Solari was my first sure fire must replace asst. coach in 2025.

I could be terribly misguided on this, but I think Nick is hinting toward that when he said this yesterday.......



And I say that because

(a) To the contrary, I'm thinking even Kerry Joseph probably is too young and too limited in NFL experience for them to think he offers anything to Dak as a QB coach. So, I think on that one, they almost have to be considering coaches with some NFL pedigree. Like, I wouldn't be surprised if the Ken Dorsey interview was as much about a QB coach position as it ever was the OC position.

(b) I'm stuck on this notion that Schotty and Sanjay Lal really like working together, and that this whole time we've not even heard a peep about the WR coach because they realize they'll have to offer Lal the Assistant Head Coach title in order to force the issue with LAC to let him be considered... but they want to hold what cards they can (notably, the Asst HC title) on that until they get through the RB and OL coach hires.

(c) I'm persuaded that Schotty specifically is letting his new OC have a substantial voice in the hire of the RB and the OL coaches, in view of the clear interest in having Adams give added attention to the run game.
