It might have sounded coherent in your head but in text, it wasn't. sorry no biggie. It was like a B-rated movie with Mickey Rourke talking.
Not missing standard one except your tools for logic only...let's see how the Cowboys do. Stereotype tosser...just see some results mixed with actual football beyond your limitation on success in process. Not above your own vanity...ever passed college level English/composition? How about SAT English...going into a mute logic mode again. You still don't talk at all on the level of a discussion. 'Smart along with you...'

Well, look on the bright side about Jerry Jones. He's not the worst FO in the league. Firstly, we have a really good squad that he helped build. Secondly, let's look at some FOs who are worse. Yes, it could be much worse:

Bears - The Bears are an absolute disgrace. They have a solid QB in Fields, and they have practically killed them. They traded for a WR last year who couldn't want to leave Chicago more quickly. Their last few coaches have been horrible. All in all, disgrace to Chicago.

The Giants - Yes, the Giants. Honestly, they have been so inept, it's not even funny of late.......well, as a Cowboys fan, it's hilarious, but you get my point. Imagine paying $40 mil for Daniel Jones. Need I say more? Honestly, they must've bribed the scriptmakers to get in the playoffs last year.

Denver - did they make a deal to win their last SB? They have been terrible and can't even make the playoffs since Peyton left. Being bought by Walmart hasn't made them more competitive. It has just left them as a bargain brand doormat to most teams.

Browns - I live in Cleveland, and yeah, they're not great. Deshaun Watson........I'll leave it at that.

There are plenty others, these are just 4 examples. Like I said, it could be worse.
You lost me at bright side to Jerry Dumbo GM Jones.

Exactly, and if we lose on Sunday, I am sure I'll be bashing him again. It's just good to know that he's not the worst lol.
But that’s something we’ve always known , that he isn’t the worst. We’ve been mediocre to above average this era .

It’s really a slam on the rest of the league who haven’t fared better given they operate in a more normal fashion. Unfortunately though we aren’t comparing ourselves this era to the upper echelon anymore instead propping ourselves up from the bottom feeders .

And while we have on occasion looked like we might be headed in a better direction until we kick down that door we cannot be included with the more successful football franchises this era .

The difference with us compared to these bottom feeders who should be ashamed they haven’t had more success than us this era is at some point they ultimately have a greater opportunity to finally get it right as they continue churning their VP , GM and front office without the meddling and undermining from an owner who insist on being the face of the franchise wanting credit for football decisions and oversight as such.

Jethro could be a great owner. Early in his tenure when he let Jimmy run football operations and just took care of the business side he was on his way to being one of the greatest owners this era and perhaps all time.

But he couldn’t handle someone else receiving more credit for the football success while he wasn’t receiving as much or more credit for his success on the business side not to mention not being the face of his franchise.

Winning championships isn’t enough for our owner. He demands on being a football celebrity from everything from socks to jocks which undermines the authority of our front office and coaching staff.

The players know where the buck stops. And why he’s so popular amongst them as the big talents and popular players can bypass the coaches . That’s how toxic atmosphere are created.

Unfortunately our greatest obstacle is always going to be overcoming our owners ways. Something 30 other teams don’t have to contend with .

He has done some pretty smart things as well....oh, I bet you will say it was someone else though.
No.. Ive always given him credit for opening the cheque book in the 90's.

I vaguely remember him saying to Jimmy something like.. "nobody cares if I make a million dollars tomorrow but everyone cares if I sign a backup TE".. so I get the fact he likes to be involved.. as he has every right as owner.. doesnt mean I have to like it.

I have just tired of his antics over the years.. coming down onto the field.. getting players without discussion with the HC's.. saying silly things.. and plenty of things Im sure you are aufait with.

These days I just find him a bit embarrassing tbh.

Some, many don't like, some may like it (I don't know many that would), some don't care or don't allow it to effect them.
It doesn't bother me. Sure, I thought it was over the top he came down to the field, but it the grand scheme of things, I didn't care either.
Yes I wish he would stay quiet, or be less out there. We all know that will not happen.

He had the open check book in the 90's because he could. Now with the salary cap all teams must go by. I just don't get the ... he rather keep it in his pocket ... crowd.
Which we know was mismanaged for years. But seems they got it more under control more now, though some will disagree with that as well.
If he could, he would spend to get players. We will see if Micah wrecks that cap management.

The Bears and Browns have been dysfunctional for years (although Chicago has played in 1 SB and 2 CCGs this century), but the Broncos (3) and Giants (2) have won five Super Bowls since the last time Dallas won a divisional round game.

Sure, it could be worse. But Jerry & Stephen have been playing fantasy football front office since Stephen was promoted in 1996 with not much to show for it, other than a fancy stadium and a massive Forbes value. I'm holding off on the flowers.
