Who else had a special routine,
Remember, a guy named Bill Russell for the Celtics. He would have to vomit before each game.
Prescott new thing is interception. And then he’s perfect. Sarcasm for those who don’t get it.

Let’s try not to make this about our quarterback. Who else in sports history have a special routine that you recall
I always liked Kevin Garnett’s pregame “powder toss”. (Don’t know why every other reply here is off topic!)

Want to come watch next week's game at my house?
I actually locked myself in the bedroom. I watched every single game by myself for the last 50 years i like to decipher, watch concentration. Football is a way of life.

I like the confidence but yeah.. he's got to figure out how to dial that back come playoff time. But other than the one he threw behind Schultz that got picked off his ball placement was on point last night. That corner end zone TD just out of reach of the leaping defender was a thing of beauty. Even the scramble bomb to Gallup was going to be complete if the DB doesn't tackle Gallup ahead of time. Dude was throwing darts out there.. mostly picked up where he left off against Philly. I am really liking how Dak is throwing the ball since he came back .. The only time he has really thrown it poorly was the first half against Detroit. Since then I can't think of many stretches where he wasn't putting the ball on the money. Yes an errant throw here and there.. but overall.. he's well over 70% completion rate in these last 10 games.. And where would that be without the drops? I mean we had 5 more last night or he's looking at a 35 of 41 type game for over 300 yards with 2 TDs and the one picks.
There have been a LOT of dropped interceptions, too. He's been fine, but not good enough for playoff football. Beating up dregs is all fine and well, but it means nothing if we see what we saw against the 49ers last year.

And the time management at the end of the Eagles game was ridiculous. That would cost Dallas the game in the playoffs.

I know he has had 14 ints this season but at least 5 have been off the hands or body of our receivers and were catchable balls. Against the Titans is a perfect example.

This is you being tunnel-vision, all 32 teams' QB interceptions are calculated using the same formula or method. You want to blame bad receivers? Tell him to spare some of his salary cap so we can keep the better ones on the roster.

Maybe during practice, Dallas offense should wear the colors of what the offense will be wearing during the game. Then Dak knows what color to throw to. Unless he is that color blind. :muttley:

And how about your pathetic hero Zeke? 1.8 ypc and gets outshined by a practice squad back? :lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Is Zeke the worst RB on our team at this point?

We can live with one interception a game if he keeps making the outstanding throws that he makes on his other passes like the td to Schultz and some of the passes to Lamb and Hilton.

I don't know about a lot.. and I can't remember any recently. Seemed like he got that out of his system those first 2-3 games when he came back. He's gotten much better at throwing it so that the defender can catch it now! ;-) And again.. he just hung 40 points, 350 yards and 3 TDs on "the best team in football." That aint no dregs. In fact he and the offense are averaging 40 points against the top two teams in the NFC. Not sure the dregs argument flies in light of that.

The other thing is we might have to accept that this defense may not be able to stop a good offense in the playoffs. That means we may have to win a shootout. May as well get practice in doing that now..

Hey everybody screamed and hollered they didn't like the dink and dunk Dak.

They wanted 300 yards They wanted a couple touchdown passes a game well many times you got to throw at 40 times for that to happen and when you throw it 40 times there's going to be a couple bad things happen too.

Dak gave you all exactly what you wanted 300 yd a couple touchdowns The number one offense but it comes at a price unless you're Roger Staubach or Joe Montana and can avoid interceptions like the plague there is a price to pay and as long as we win that price is not too high.

So quit whining all the pressures on the Eagles right now be happy about that
they don't know how to be happy.

Hammer meet nail...

As I've said repeatedly.. Dak has already proven himself to be good enough to win a championship. He doesn't actually need to get any better for me. He's two volley balled INTs from being 10-0 since returning from the thumb.. and if not for 5-6 such INTs he's looking at almost a 4-1 TD to INT ratio since returning. And we don't even need to go into the ones where receivers didn't finish routes for him. Those are just as bad as the volley balls but not as obvious. My whole point is that people with agenda are assigning the mistakes of others to Dak so they can justify their Dak-hate. It's disgusting for people who claim to be fans of this team to be doing that.

The bottom line is overall Dak is playing pretty well. People acting like one or two bad throws or unlucky bounces define him are just being *****. If you take a step back and see the big picture you realize dude is ballin. He hung 40 on the Eagles with no running game.. and just won a road game with no running game. I'm not interested in worrying about how it looks to the "eye test." The guy is completing almost 70% of his passes (#2 in the league) for a top 5 yards per attempt.

You said you're not going off of the eye test so my reply is from stats to make it an even keal because the eyetest shows yes, he has some work to do but not nearly as bad as people are blowing things up. Again, that comment was off of the eye test. But since you don't want to go off of the eye test , I'm looking at stats. I was somewhat following you all the way up to the bolded... According to the stat sheets, Dak has thrown 14 interceptions (tied for the most with Derek Carr) and 22 touchdowns.. How is 22 touchdowns and 14 interceptions a 4-1 ratio? 13 (of the 14) interceptions are since he came back.. He only threw 1 against TB. So I'll go on a limb and say 13 interceptions and 22 TDs. I'll ask again, how is that a 4-1 ratio?

I'm about getting tired of the Dak bashing threads like anyone else but at the same time, I'm not covering for him either... He's got alot of work to do... There is no denying that....

These threads would disappear if Dak would stop with the mistakes silly mistakes in otherwise good showings.

He has never done it this bad before so I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

But just like in the NBA i think he needs to condense his throw chart to guys he can trust for the playoffs ...... no more forced passes to Brown.
