Aikman didn't fly up the charts. He was a clear consensus high first rounder well before Jan. 1st. So was Peyton.

Some guy become a high first rounder based on an average Senior Bowl and the underwear Olympics is a bit troubling.

The question it really begs is why was he so low in the first place.

The majority of people here wanted Aaron Donald when he was still projected as a 2nd round or later talent. He shot up the boards and went before our pick. Now he's the second best defensive player in the NFL behind only possibly the best defensive player in history.

I'd take Donald over Miller. I know Miller is getting all the hype right now because of the SB, but 3 months ago nobody would say Miller was the 2nd best defensive player in the NFL. Nobody.

The top 10 of this draft is a disaster waiting to happen... or a QB that won't be there for #4 that we don't need according to Jerry.


Gotta luv the depth on DL but not Bosa and (my bad) not Buckner @4, there are JUST TOO MANY lower tiers that will end up better than the hyped names like Spence. Ogbah may have just jumped them all. The DTs are OMG good.

This really has to be the year we get one of the top two QBs! The closer we get to the draft and more we evaluate them the QBs keep rising. Imaging if we DON'T have a top 5 pick and try to acquire one????!!! We would have to mortgage our future!

Personally I prefer Goff. I think he has the highest floor #1. #2 chances are pretty good he's going to have to play earlier than later. #3 I love his throws with anticipation and keeping WRs in stride. Sometimes accuracy can't be taught. Just salivating at the thought of him hitting Dez on a crossing pattern.

That is not a fair assessment of these guys you cannot base their QB intelligence because of them having tattoos it's ridiculous and you're being stereotypical there are different reasons as to why Manziel, and Kaepernick didn't pan out in the NFL and the jury is still out on McCarron but it definitely doesn't have anything to do with their tattoos.

I saw the championship game he played in and wasn't overly impressed with Wentz, he did show all tools a team covets in QBs but that is about it a lot of QBs displayed those same tools over the years that didn't pan out Jamarcus Russell, and Ryan Leaf comes to mind not saying that Wentz will be like those failures at QB but just throwing it out there.

I wouldn't get too comfortable if I were them..

We have a aging QB that's had back and shoulder surgery in a offense that gets him hit a lot.

1. Didn't play for a Div 1 school
2. Draftniks/Draft gurus are not nfl scouts.
