That is how I would do it.

CMichael would be the lead back/short yardage
Randle would be subbed in when needed and handle the 4 minute offense
McFadden should be replaced by a Dunbar type, but until he is he can be the passing downs/hurry up offense

Randle is pacing 925 yards and 13 TDs, which is more yards than Murray had in either of his first two years, and more than twice as many TDs as those years combined.

They are when he can't play. Witten has proven over the years that he's a leader. I don't know what McFadden has proven. He's not even as good as randle.

Murray set the franchise record with over 250 yards in his career start. He isn't making anything up.

He had 3500 yards and 16 TDs in his first 3 seasons, making 31 starts.
Randle has 967 with 9 TDs in his first 2 1/4 seasons, making 7 starts.

I have not yet read through this entire thread, but I will. If this was brought up, I apologize. I am certainly okay with the change at RB...but the NFL way of thinking always baffles me.

Christine Michael has had 2 carries. There have been ample opportunities the past few games to get him more carries prior to making this change. Wouldnt it have been better the last 2 games to give him some extra carries to see what he could do? Give him a decent number of carries and if you liked what you saw, announce the change. Rather than doing that, they go from not using him at all, to announcing a change. Or thinking of making the change. I just dont get the way of thinking in the NFL.

I don't think McFadden has gotten the chances that Randle has. I think he's a different type of tailback and needs to get carries to get warmed up.

He said that people 'kid around about being a Hog gives him an advantage.'

That's just playful banter. I don't think anybody actually thinks that. How many Arkansas players have we had on the team in Jerry's ownership....it's not many.

And he still isn't the starter and Joseph Randle has shown me nothing in terms of why he should be the starter.
