Very odd. Why don't they give Michael some series first? It wouldn't surprise me if none of these backs are here next year. Personally, I hope all are replaced. I know this is just a report from Werder but it seems odd that he gets two carries total in two games and now he may be a starter. Sometimes this teams thinking is just odd with these type of changes.

They are dropping randle from the starting lineup.
So probably cmike starter, randle change of pace, and bench time mcfadden

oh, well im ok with that. i was thinking swapping instead of shuffling...time for my 2nd cup of coffee hah

There is some fascination with McFadden that simply doesn't add up. The guy can't side-step a turtle without tripping.

If Michael's blocking and mental capacity is so bad that he can't fairly earn snaps over McFadden then he should not be in the league.

Collins over Leary is a no-brainer now. The consistency and cohesion that Leary could lean on simply has not been there. When it comes down to talent vs talent, Collins wins. With the added bonus of a young player improving with snaps.

Mike Fisher just said it on 105.3 as well. Good to hear they are considering changing out underperforming players.

What's it going to be then, eh?

why would you drop randle for cmike? Wouldnt you drop mcnoshow?
Apparently not.

According to Stephen Jones, McFadden is a "man's man" ala Romo and Witten.

@Edwerderespn: #Cowboys using bye to consider 2 more starting lineup changes: Christine Michael for Joseph Randle at RB, La'El Collins for Ron Leary at LG

About bleeping time.... I will say it again. This is yet another Jerry "highly encouraged" move. He is tired of it. The Cassell move was also his. I bet money on both.

I am just speculating but maybe there is more trust in McFadden. Personally, I do not like any of our running backs. Obviously, I have not seen enough of Michael and will wait and see but I would imagine he winds up being here for only a cup of coffee.

Randle is pretty average but maybe he is not reliable as we have seen from some of his off the field issues. McFadden is probably slightly less than average but maybe more reliable. Personally, I think even at this stage in the year, you could find guys off the couch who could be just as productive as either.
