(hopefully he stays in Tenn.)
Why is Bud Adams allowed to own an NFL franchise?Yakuza Rich;2025558 said:Owner = Bud Adams.
This is the same guy who couldn't keep the Oilers in Houston, the largest city is a football hungry state. The same guy whose team has had serious cap problems for years and when they get well under the cap this year, they don't spend any money in FA. The same owner whose team refused to let Steve McNair work out despite his long time service to the team. The same owner who drafted Vince Young because he was from Houston and wanted to spite Houston fans. The same owner who also allowed Pacman to be drafted in the first place.
Any more questions?

Something that should have been wrapped up in two hours is taking FOREVER.
TheCount;2025554 said:I'm starting to think what the Titans really want is an excuse to let him play for them.
"Hey, we tried to trade you, you weren't worth much. Might as well suit up, see you at camp."
They probably also feel jilted that Pacman is basically in love with the Cowboys, and showed almost no interest in returning to that team.
for real. I end up saying the same thing everyday.Rampage;2025607 said:these pacman trade talks are getting out of hand.

Did i not call this almost 2 weeks ago?the Titans were using Jerry and the cowboys. trying to get other teams to give more for Pacman. dont do it Jerry.Aven8;2025553 said:Well what else are they doing?? They're stalling for more interest. I think the real reason is they don't want Pac to come here and be contending for a superbowl, and be on the big stage with us. It is kind of like a reward for him to play for Da'Boys!
This is the reason the titans need Dallas to make the trade, its better than paying his whole contract and taking the cap hit by releasing him.the Titans took him sixth overall in 2005 and agreed to guarantee base salaries of more than $1.2 million for the upcoming season, $1.7 million in 2009 and in excess of $2 million in the final year. The Titans will be responsible for those amounts if Jones is released or kept on the Titans roster. Trading Jones and his contract to another team is the only way to avoid it.
I don't know why, but I had to laugh at that.Scotman;2025583 said:I'd combine the 4th round pick and the 5th round pick and give them a 9th round pick!
TheCount;2025621 said:Can we get a ban on Pacman threads? Can we just do one thread and put all the Pacman stuff in there, cause I agree, this is getting ridiculous.
Then again, it's the off season, not much else going on is there?
