Ed Werder reported that he surveyed five teams after the 1st round about their grades on Frederick. The grades were a 4th, a 5th, a 5th, a 6th, and a borderline 6th/7th. I will now attempt to drown myself.

If you honestly believe those supposed ratings. then you have already been drowning yourself in something.

Bottom line is that we have needed a solid, smart, and reliable big body right smack in the center of our O-line for a while now. Our lack of a run game along with our inability to protect Romo in the pocket makes this pick one of the least surprising of the first round. It will pay dividends for years... and it will make Romo a better QB, Bryant a better WR, and our run game more than just an afterthought.

It is about darn time as far as I am concerned. I'm not complaining.

Most NFL teams rank by grouping rather than round for prospects past a certain point so anyone dumb enough to believe that he found several teams using an antiquated system and a 6th round grade deserves what they get.

Special Ed has realized that no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the public. The truth is secondary to him as his goal get pub from the mouthbreathers.
