Washington is a bad team. I won't deny that but they are still a pro NFL team. Cooper Rush is going to have a 4-0 start to his NFL career and after that it gets harder and harder to remove the hot hand. Rush runs this offense better than Dak. Dak might throw the better football but Rush can read a defense better and is more calm than Dak. If we win this game I might buy my son a Rush jersey. Yeehah go Cowboys!!

It may get harder to remove the hot hand IF we beat Washington but the schedule gets much harder too. If Dak is good to go for the Rams and Eagles, there is no way he doesn't play.

If dak loses to the Rams then expect the QB controversy to heat up. I'd play Rush until he loses at least!!! Can't have soft dak feeling the pressure too much
 
I'm hopeful, but I've seen some wonky things happen in NFC East games over the years. We should win this game, and we need to if we're actually going to be a contender this year.

One good thing is that one of the main reasons for those wonky things happening is up and down or inconsistent play. So far, the defense has been pretty consistent. Maybe that will neutralize the ups and downs that we experienced when the offense was our strength.

why would that be? You are not saying NY Giants and the Rams are the same teams, same talent level are you?

Will be interesting if we win this week. Then we lose against Rams and Eagles with Dak. We will have a good Ole fashion QB controversy.

Rams might be better? loi I agree of the importance of the game I also know Dak kicked NY *** last year putting 44 points on them with 3 TD and the response? Oh it was just the NY Giants. Well it was just the NY Giants and we had 6 points going into the 4th, had Dak done that every critic would have been on his butt all week long. Fact is defense played a big part in the win over NY. No Giants and Rams are not the same.

I do agree I hope Rush can go out and beat Washington this week the team needs it and it would be big to get up in the division with 2 divisional wins.

Why I'm comparing him to Tom Brady. He has that clutch gene. The 2022 Cowboys are eerily similar to the 2001 Patriots. Fantastic defense and a substitute QB gets thrown in after the QB1 (who both aren't elite but can put up numbers) get injured. Our substitute QB isn't elite right now but is playing his part perfectly and just gets this offense.
 
Didn't Diggs put McLaurin on an island last time we played these fools?

I'd love to see Dallas rout them. Paging Mr. Gallup.
 
The Skins Dline is good .If they can disrupt our running game then Rush will find it hard to convert 3rd and longs,that is the only way they win this game.
 
Another one of those kiss of death threads. You just knew back-to-back wins would have this fan base overconfident again. Never fails. Lol It’s not like the Cowboys have been blowing anyone out. Washington can play some defense. They shut out Philly in the second half last week. Philly has the number one offense. Washington has a win over Jacksonville who’s coming off back-to-back wins.

They are, but our Oline is playing well.Hopefully they can clear some space for Zeke and Tony to stay out of 3rd and long and run play action off of that for some big plays.

best case scenario for rush. pad his resume, avoid the true tests, dak potentially gets eaten alive, rush returns for the cakewalk. wild times
