We're Beating the Saints

And three minutes after the final gun sounds, Slate will start a "We're Beating the Commanders" thread.

You see for me I believe in "any given Sunday or saturday or whenever".

My point is: It doesnt matter if we win that one game. That doesnt reflect this teams performance.............. yet.

exactly he already got it out of his system if it was there, he isn't like Belichick who holds a grudge for centuries

Oh well if you know Sean personally you should have said something or I wouldn't have pretended I knew for sure his thoughts and feelings :)

Just as likely he still has feelings about it

This is the same weak minded bunch that got drilled at Philly to end last years playoff hopes and they look primed and ready for a repeat next week.
I just wonder if there is an embarrasing blowout of epic enough proportions to send Jerry over the top. I mean what if it's 52-6 or worse?

Why is it weak mindedness to get beat at home by a better team? Our fans are so arrogant and stupid all at the same time. We're not crumbling. We're just an above-average team that beats itself in some close games and that's not capable of beating better teams. We win the games we absolutely should win, and lose the ones we should lose. It's really not any more complicated than that except that our fans think we deserve a Lombardi each year just for showing up.

Yep. We're just about what our record says we are -- an above average team with pretty good talent talent and pretty good coaching, not unlike several other teams out there.

This is the game that since about four weeks into the season I've been mentally conceding. Granted, that means nothing -- other than to say I absolutely do not, and never have, expected us to win this game. I sure hope to be surprised, though.

I just think we match up terribly against their passing game. I can't imagine us touching Brees, and think it'll be a minor victory if we hold him to a sub-125 QB rating. Will he have seven passes hit the turf? They're so versatile on offense, with so many equally equipped weapons, that we can't just take one guy away and make them beat us with someone else. I don't see our defense adjusting well against an offense that is so versatile.

This place will be all lollipops and rainbows next Saturday night.

Can't wait.

I'll one up you. We win out and make the playoffs. Oh wait, I'm a happy fan according to chinch. Oh, and one of Jerry's followers. Dang it.

I'm with ya on this one, this is the week we put it all together in all 3 phase's.

Well I'd be hard pressed to say I'm not weary when I see everyone saying "no, we can't beat them." I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys beat the Saints. But at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys got blown out because they quit at halftime either.

I've actually had that feeling the last couple of weeks as well. The Saints are not playing that well lately and were almost beat by the Redstinks. I really think we have a great shot at beating them.

Did'nt it take a last minute TD for you to beat the Commanders. Pot meet kettle.

I agree. I know it's doom and gloom right now, but I can see us going in there and lighting it up, only prolonging the agony of another anemic offensive showing in Washington the week after.

I hope SLATE but i've posted this same type of post so many times that this year i've finally learned my lesson and I was even expecting to lose in some gut wrenching fashion against San Diego.

This week I think the team will just flat out quit and get beat bad.

I hope this was a joke.

The Cowboys couldn't beat their way out of a paper bag right now.

Must be really painful watching the Cowboys lose a couple and watching that clown show you guys call a football team at the horse shoe :laugh1:

By some odd ball one in a million chance we win, it will only give us false hope for the rest of the season.:
