In years past I'd be terrified of this year's schedule. The AFC East has some dominant fronts and defenses overall. Seattle and Green Bay are stout. Carolina has a solid front 7. Philly has beefed up their D and Washington always plays us tough.
I'm not sweating it though. Our line is easily the best in football, Collins would be the starter on 31 other teams in this league tomorrow and he'll have to win his spot in camp.
This team can travel, they'll play you in a parking lot - and I guarantee they'll be a lot better than 4-4 at home next year. We're built to grind teams out and with an elite QB and dynamic WR like Dez you become a matchup nightmare for everyone.
Doesn't matter who is running the ball - RB is about as plug and play as you can get, there is a reason each year 5 different RBs come out of nowhere.
Last years success was just a glimpse of whats to come - Murray ran that way because he knew he had one chance to cash out, RBs will never get a big second contract - unless you're a guy like AP.
For every 'dirty' yard Murray accounted for, he left three on the field - by turning 40+ yard runs & home run TDs into 25 yard runs that end a helmet to the safeties chest.
Of course I loved all 1800 of those yards but I was left wondering if someone with above average speed could've hit that corner and gone the distance. I can't wait to see this stable of young, hungry, dynamic runners hit the second level, make a guy miss and take it the distance.
We'll all finally be able to forget about Murray when he has 67 yards against us and Joseph Randall goes for 150 and 3 TDs.
