We're In The Dark

I like our approach of building through the draft and not having wet dreams over every big name free agent out there.

Like some posters have said already, how many SB champs over the past 5 yrs or so had rosters loaded with big ticket free agents???

Not many.

I don't mind the fans or media not knowing anything personally. It makes me think the team is carefully weighing things and not impulse shopping. Fans and media are impulse shoppers. The Cowboys are goal oriented shoppers. It gives me some confidence.

Hos is right folks. Just sit back and wait for the results. They are doing the right thing.

You know they are looking at all the FAs and making the call whether to watch or not.

While I personally don't have a lot of confidence in K Hamlin, it appears the person in charge does. I'd still be surprised if they don't take another hard look at Bethea. He will come cheaper than Rolle did.

I have no problem with the way the FO handles things. They are professionals.

It's big picture all they way this time around.

We are limited to some degree, but not too badly. Final 8 teams can spend only so much unless they let someone go of equal or greater salary. I doubt Phx would have dealt Boldin to us ayway...it was AFC or cellar NFC team all the way on that one. The Bears signees are not relevent to us either.

I think we like our team and this draft class, so we will be prudent.
