Difference is everyone knows if you let Brady go deep all the time he will carve you up. Teams would rather let the pats Dink and Dunk in hopes it will keep the game close. While Gronk is their best receiver a deep threat he is not.

Thus far no one is stopping Dak, as teams adjust I expect him to adjust as well and take opportunities down field. People are acting as if he can't throw the deep ball when the reality is he can I have seen ample throws by him in college and pre season to know he can put the ball down field with no problem. Right now he is moving this team avoiding any turnovers and the Boys are sitting at 3-1 when he is forced to adjust I'm sure he will.

Deep throws in college are not the same as deep throws in NFL the window in college is would be considered a blown coverage int he NFL. And I hope he can adjust and also works on his mecahnics to deliver the ball better down the field. Throws he could get away with in college he cant at this level.

Leading your man down field yes it is the same. WR gets a step on CB and the QB leads him down field no difference.

Yes but being open in the NFL is matter of inches not feet like in college. I think the coaches and maybe him do not have that confidence yet.

I don't think the coaches are preventing him from throwing deep, he is hitting the open man if defense adjust which thus far they have not then I expect him to go where he needs to with the ball be it deep or intermediate or short. Yes it is a matter of inches in the NFL be it short routs, intermediate routs or the deep ball. He is hitting his passes at a high completion rate, he is moving his offense down the field and avg 25 points a game. Thus far the only problem he has had was week 1 when they struggled to get the TD when inside the redzone outside of that I see no problem.

His job is to read the defense and throw accordingly not throw the deep ball so fans can say well he threw it deep, if the play is there then I expect him to take it if not then hit the open man.
