I'm not worried. We have a great team here. Dak is likely playing. Rush didn't wally Pipp him...

They started off 3-0 by beating 3 of the worst teams in the NFL. Then they started losing against better teams and finally won another game this week against, you guessed it, one of the worst teams in the NFL.

They seem to be one of the best of the worst teams in the NFL. Basically, they're the prettiest person in the ugly contest.

They traded Von Miller yesterday, so the best defensive player on their team is no longer a worry for us.

They have a top 10 pass defensive in terms of yards allowed per game and they're ranked 12th in rush yards allowed per game. They only allow 17 PPG, which is good for 2nd in the NFL.

They have a middle of the pack passing offense in terms of yards per game and are ranked 20th in rush yards per game. They average 19 PPG which is good for 23rd in the NFL.

So, is their defense fools gold? Especially now with Von Miller no longer there? If Dak plays we'll put those rankings to the test. Will our defense be able to continue the momentum it started this week and keep the boot on the neck against a pretty poor offense overall? Sunday will tell the story.
If dak plays and we play up to our potential as a team
We should win easily

Denver defense is still good, Reed has 4 sacks on the season and 9 other players on that team who have recorded sacks on the team. They have produced 6 ints with 4 different players and 3 ints by safety Justin Simmons. Offensively Denver has struggled

Football Outsiders, which adjusts for opponent strength, has Denver with a poor defense (25th). And that's with Von Miller. They're poor against the pass (21st) and the run (27th). So yeah, it does look like the defense is fool's gold and looks good in large part because of the opponents they've faced.

When they've faced teams with competent offenses (Ravens, Raiders, even the Steelers), they've given up 400 yards and points (23, 34, 27).

FO has their offense as a little above average (13th). Opponents matter.

If he is ready to play then he should go !

Why?

Give your back up more reps, rest your starter for that playoff run. IF...on the road vs anyone sure we play him, just not at home.

We need Dak.

Good luck telling Dak, after he has already been cleared to play and said he was good to go against the Vikings, that he should sit another one another.

We need Dak ( To Play) .

fixed , lol

jokes aside , he is the starting Qb, and he is getting top $ , ( Jerry will start coaching otherwise ,) and if ready needs to play. We cant throw games away , when we are still in the race for top seed , HFA and bye.

Also he needs continuity to be productive, too much rust is not good. ( of course only if medically completely cleared )

I hate playing ugly teams. It calls for an ugly game. I’m more concerned about this than the Vikings. Cowboys by 14

Denver doesn’t have the offense to keep up with us, assuming Dak plays.

Our next game is against Atlanta, a worse team than Denver. So not sure how this is a trap game.

Denver has a very good defense and a below average offense. If Rush is starting we better protect the ball otherwise it can become a very losable game.
Cooper Rush is not starting, make no mistake about it. Unless something happens to Prescott other than what he already went through

Poor Surtain. Gets to visit Dallas and see what could’ve been instead of freezing in Denver

Why does everyone think Prescott’s not playing. He could’ve played against the Vikings. He’s 100%

Not the only one who feels this way, one more week, be smart.

True, but Rush should have had at 2 other picks in that game. Denver's D is better than Minnesota's. Denver could become very opportunistic if Rush is starting again. I am not concerned if Dak is good to go.
However, Rush is gaining experience and it was his first true NFL game against a good defense. If he plays the next game, he just might get better and the game plan will likely be tailored to his strengths.
